A Refreshing Place to Stay
Pros:

Sorrento was a breath of fresh air and the Hotel Michelangelo a lovely place to stay. From our check-in with a women who spoke beautiful English, to our very comfortable large room, and the extensive breakfast included in our reservation, we were so happy with the hotel. An easy walk from the train station and close to piazzas with tons of restaurants and lovely walks.

Amazing hotel in a great location 🤩
Pros:

An amazing hotel in a great location in the centre of Sorrento ! So recommended ! 🤩 We are staying at this fantastic hotel on our last night - located perfectly for the main Sorrento centre, so convenient for the port, railway, shops, resturants and bars.

The rooms are so comfortouble and furnished to a high quality and extremely clean - bed is so comfortouble, and the balacony a nice way to relax in the evening. The reception, bar, and resturant staff are friendly polite and extremely helpful and efficient. We received a very warm welcome on arrival.

The rooftop terrace with whirlpool was a good way to relax in between busy days exploring places such as Pompeii, Vesuvius, Postiano, Capri and Herculaneum. The ferry port is 15-20 mins walk away with the railway station just around the corner 5 mins away.

Our first morning it was my wifes birthday and she received a surprise birthday cheesecake complete with candles and staff singing "Happy Birthday" - such a thoughtful and special touch.

This hotel is very highly recommended - Perfetto, meraviglioso - grazie Hotel Michelangelo!!!! 😀

Pros:

Clean and well kept

Cons:

Some of the receptionists were very difficult and unkind with accommodating small children, however others were very kind and thoughtful to a family situation. It was inconsistent but I really appreciate and commend the staff that cared for our family and wanted to help! Those individuals who were kind and helpful are the ones we like to remember

Отличное местоположение, рядом вокзал, недалеко от центра города. Компетентный персонал отеля. Всё было прекрасно. Обязательно вернёмся в Соренто. 🥰

We would love to stay here again.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent. It was my daughter's favorite part of the vacation. The location and beautiful view stole the show. We enjoyed the hotel very much. It was clean, stylish and we loved having a balcony. All of the staff we interacted with were helpful and kind.

Cons:

If I had to complain about anything, it would be the hardness of the mattress. It was okay for 3 nights, but any longer and my hips would have been screaming at me.

Beliggenheten var veldig bra, rommene var fine og med en romslig balkong - selv om balkongen vendte mot jernbanen og «baksiden». Vi kom med bil, og det var lett å stoppe utenfor hotellet, og svært behagelig at de hjalp oss med parkeringen. Godt utvalg i frokostsalen.

Cons:

Vi hadde valgt hotellet blant annet fordi det var en takterasse der, med tanke på avslapping i sola. Dessverre hadde vi mye dårlig vær, så skuffelsen var stor da de ikke ville åpne dørene til takterrassen da det endelig var sol. Takterrassen var åpen den dagen da vi kom, så vi skjønte ikke hvorfor de ikke kunne åpne opp området noen dager senere.

Pros:

Breakfast was typically italian with a great choice. The hotel location is central,and with a few minutes walk from Sorrento train station and the shop's and restaurants are within a comfortable walking distance. The hotel rooftop terrace is lovely and the quality of the food at lunchtime is very good. The hotel restaurant is way better than many of the restaurants outside and in many ways offers better value. The service in the hotel is good and very discreet. Francesco who heads the restaurant service is superb and an asset to the hotel.
