The location is fabulous, the staff wonderful. Beer choice also great.
Nothing of note
Awesome. Unique and very comfortable.
The staff were brilliant. Many thanks for the help.
With appreciation
Outstanding homemade biscuits on the tea tray! Can walk to shops and restaurants nearby.
Nothing much. Would just suggest higher wattage bulbs in the lights and some coat hooks on back of doors but these are minor details.
Loved the room. Comfortable bed & plenty of space. Good location - very central!

Couldn’t believe my luck finding this gem! The room was in a townhouse down a side street 10 seconds from the Borough. It was amazing, really beautiful decor with a lovely sitting area, a very comfortable bed and a luxurious wet room. Also an outdoor space for nicer days. Super friendly staff and very welcoming. What a treat.
Nothing.
Nice bathroom with heated floor
I was not allocated the room that I had requested via Booking.com. I had asked for the executive double room with bath in the annexe building. However, I was given a small room on the top floor. Disappointing
Location was good ,room spacious.
Room freezing heater not working,
Only 2 coffee,2 teabags.
Expensive to eat ,on low budget6
Great location, minutes away from the train station, shops and restaurants. Comfortable clean room and friendly staff.
Beautiful clean and stylish room, gorgeous wet room bathroom with a good deep tub, top quality dinner and breakfast, knowledgeable, attentive and charming staff.
Tucked away in a street at back of pub. Spacious. Clean. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Comfy bed
Nothing
It's close to town
Ink stain on the bed sheet decorated badly and sack your cleaner
The room and, in particular, the bathroom were fine. Bed was comfortable
Wasn't advised on booking the the room was outside of the main hotel with the entrance door being off a side street. No direct access to the hotel for ice, drinks etc. No bottled water in the room. Felt very isolated and unsafe. I need complete darkness to sleep and the room had 2 green lights, the one above the door, I was advised, being a legal requirement
On arrival I advised the reception staff that I did not require room service. On the Saturday afternoon, a young man knocked on the door offering room service. Answering the door onto a road is not acceptable to me, especially when I had said it was not required. The sign to hang on the door is not appropriate. The style and design indicate that a female is in the room. Shortly afterwards a young female member of staff, later identified as the duty supervisor/ manager unlocked the door and walked straight in and caught me 'in flagrante'. This was so embarrassing it not only brought me to tears, but ruined the rest of my stay. Whilst the staff nember apologised and said she had mis read the instructions, it didn't help calm me down. I am neurodivergent and issues like this and the lights sends me on a downward spiral and can take weeks to recover from. Had I been advised at the time of booking about the room being seperate to the hotel when booked, I would not have stayed at the hotel.
Staff very friendly
