Great sunset view from room balcony

The hotel is in a great location, next to the lake, and we had a great view from the VIP room at the front of the hotel. The hotel has a car park. The VIP room was very spacious with a lounge area and bedroom. It’s a great location for the the boat trip across the lake and for walking along the lakeside. Breakfast was basic but fine.

The hotel is just the front of a lake in Payao. Around the hotel, there are some restaurants and shops. it is quite comfortable.

This is a very clean and comfortable place to stay in Phayao. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend this place. My room had a view of the famous swamp (nicer than it sounds!) It's nice to stroll around the swamp perimeter around sunset in the vicinity of the hotel.

I would say this is the best hotel in Phayao. Great location. We had a suite which was huge and very reasonably priced. The most comfortable bed I've slept in in Thailand! Breakfast choices were limited but adequate for our needs. Would stay again.

While the room was expensive we didn't think the design of the apartment was user friendly.

The overall service was actually good, staffs are really helpful but the building and in room maintenance is really bad. I stayed in suite room. The area is large but poor space functionality, water was running slow on the shower and bathtub, the hot water was broken and took about an hour to fix, no toothbrush available in-room or on-call, electric sockets are limited and in weird places (I have to use TV socket for a hair dryer because there is none in the bathroom.)

Lovely reception and room. Good shower, soft bed. Close to some bars and restaurents.
However, breakfast was disgusting. Went down at 9am. Nothing was kept hot and no lids on anything so flys crawling on food. A girl we disturbed from her iPhone eventually lit a low burner under the food. Some ham and sausages were in a tureen of cold water, the top slices exposed to the air were brown and curling at the edges, some cold congealed fried eggs were next to it. I can only guess at the number of bacteria this would encourage to grow as the fetid water slowly heated by candle power. The mayonnaise had a skin on top next to the wilted salad and the fruit was definitely passed it's best.
In desparation we asked if an omelette could be made. "Chef" can not make omelets.......
Eventually a phone call was placed to a "manager"....in bangkok!! I said they would make people ill and would like to make our own omelets, here at the phuglong "luxury" hotel!
One look in the kitchen convinced us we would prefer not to prepare or eat anything from a kitchen that looked like a bomb site. The wrappers which had come off breakfast (so presumably its re-stored after being a flies playground each morning) were scattered everywhere.
Just up the road there's a cafe. Not luxury, but SAFE!!

4th time I have stayed here. Best class hotel with awesome location and view right on the lake. Big parking lot. Staff very friendly and professional. If they could make an improvement: provide a machine that makes fresh Expresso and Americano coffee. For a top class hotel they shouldn't be servingbinstant coffee only.

Stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is new and modern, with a nice reception and nice rooms. The staff was friendly, but not so good in speaking English. The bed has to be the softest and most comfortable I have ever seen in Thailand, like in Europe. The largest drawback was bad internet connection. You can forget streaming Netflix here, because the internet falls out every 3 minutes and you have to reconnect. At least it was like this on 5th floor back. Breakfast was just ok. Small buffet with eggs, ham (no bacon), sausages, bread, cornflakes, and some Thai style items as well. It is an ok hotel, but I would maybe remove luxury from the hotel name.

Nice hotel. On the waterfront road with lots of bars and restaurants. However, they charge a lot more for a deluxe room that is the exact same room as the basic one but on a higher floor. Not worth the extra money to have a balcony with a better view of the lake. The room is quiet. Breakfast is ok.

A beautiful, modern, new hotel situated on Lake Phayao close to all restaurants and entertainment.

The hotel is ideally sited next to the lake. Plenty of bars and eateries around and town is a short walk away too. I would stay again.
