Nice rooftop and a good room in very central Condesa location

The staff at Casa Decu were kind, prompt, and attentive. The rooms were clean and spacious. I felt safe in this space and even though there were some guests that were excessively noisy Casa Decu handled this well. For comfort they have fans/heaters in the room to address any temperature issues, this is very common in Mexico and not an issue for my stay in September. I additionally appreciate the toiletries for the shower as they are good quality as well.

We booked a "terrace room" at Casa Decu a couple of weeks ago. After arriving, we were lead to a room on the bottom floor, with no exterior windows. It had a patio that was about 3'x8' (guessing) surrounded by interior walls and with all of the other rooms looking down on it. The room smelled heavily of cleaning chemicals, with no moving ventilation. We went back to the host and requested the room that we had ordered, only to be told that was the only room available. We requested a refund, since what we paid for was not provided and things turned rude and hostile. I would not recommend this hotel unless you have low expectations and don't like fresh air. Great location though. We found an air bnb a couple blocks away with a patio over looking the park for less money - I'd recommend that instead (Nido Parque Mexico).

Casa Decu completely stole our hearts—we honestly couldn't believe how much character, style, and luxury we got for the price we paid. Tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood, this charming little boutique hotel exceeded every single expectation and left us totally blown away. If you're visiting Mexico City and want high-end boutique vibes without the eye-watering price tag, this hidden gem is an absolute no-brainer! In a very nice neighbourhood.

Breakfast offered a very generous series of options and the a la carte menu was delicious! The upstairs terrace was clean, well designed , and a pleasure to use. Location could not be better and our room was wonderfully quiet. Remarkably clean and beautifully designed! Great bedding!

I really like the neighborhood and I liked the hotel but I have a problem with the payment. I had booked a total of four separate stay and I only got receipts for three stays. All my reservations were with Booking.com. The five nights day, which was the longest, I was overcharged $79. The front desk kept telling me it was Booking.com‘s problem. I’m trying to resolve this, but the Hotel did not give me a receipt for my five nights stay and I can’t seem to get any response from them. Booking.com needs some kind of proof that I overpaid. The amount it shows on my booking on Booking.com is $79 less than I was charged and I just want to resolve this. It has nothing to do with the taxes as my Booking.com charges all include the taxes. It’s very frustrating.
