Kiváló elhelyezkedés, nagyon kedve személyzet.
Pros:

Nagyon kedves személyzet, minden kérésünket teljesítették. A szállás elhelyezkedése nagyon szuper, buszmegálló a szálloda előtt, a belváros 3 perc séta.

Siamo stati molto contenti del nostro soggiorno. La stanza era pulita, ordinata e con tutto l’essenziale. Maria è attenta, premurosa e professionale e con gentilezza si assicura che tutto sia di gradimento. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la sua chiamata per sincerarsi che fosse tutto a posto, visto che avevamo chiesto di poter fare il check-in alle 8 del mattino ma, a causa di un contrattempo, non ci è stato possibile arrivare in orario. È stato un gesto che ci ha fatto sentire accolti. Quando si dice prendersi cura!

Did not even let me stay!

I booked Hotel Etnea Royal Suites on 9th November for a non-refundable 2-night stay from 14th till 16th November (Refundable option was only till 12th Nov, did not make sense to pay extra for just 3days!) . Shortly after paying, I messaged the property to let them know we would arrive around 11pm. Only then did I notice that their stated check-in time ends at 9pm.

Since their Booking.com page still shows a 2023 Q&A saying late check-in after 10pm is possible for a €25 fee, I assumed this was still an option and we were willing to pay it. However, the property told us they would not allow check-in and we will not find anyone at 11pm under any circumstance — not even with the extra charge.

The tone of the messages felt quite rude, and when I asked about the possibility of a refund (all of this happening within about two hours of booking), communication suddenly stopped. I contacted customer service, but the answer from the hotel remained the same: no check-in after 9pm and no refund.

I tried calling the property multiple times and received no answer.
Through Booking.com support, I later asked if we could at least check in the next morning on 15th November at 8am, without requesting a refund for the first night. That request was also refused.

In the end, we were left with no options but to book two rooms for two nights at another hotel. We ended up losing the full amount paid to this so called hotel.

It’s really disappointing that there was no flexibility, no willingness to understand the situation, and almost no communication once we asked for help. I honestly don’t understand how a business can operate this way in 2025.

I hope this helps others make an informed decision.
