Hotel Rameswaram Grand

Hotel was clean, 2 mins walk from Rameswaram railway station.
Check-in was smooth and quick. Rooms were clean and big. Breakfast had a good spread of South Indian dishes.
Filter Coffee and room service was good.
Hotel staff are courteous and ready to help with any kind of request.

Autos are available throughout the day for a ride to temple or to Dhanushkodi sightseeing

Hygiene is lacking..the floors are v dirty. The restaurant plates r v dirty. No wifi on 3 floor.

The property and amenities are more than good. Maintenance and staff upkeep are relatively below average. Kitchen and dining deserves better hands.

This is an excellent place to stay- with great team of young staff , working to keep the area neat , clean and amazingly comfortable.
Me and my family liked the stay and really enjoyed our holiday.
Excellent food adds to the satisfaction.

Hotel seems to be in development phase. No shops or restaurants around. Internet in lobby area only, not in rooms as was promised while booking.

I did not get what I wanted from Expedia. I had searched for 24hr check out and twin bed room, which appeared while booking, but the voucher stated 12 noon checkout and single bed. I had paid extra and have felt cheated

I think the Expedia rating about this hotel is misleading.

The hotel's linen and cleanliness is pathetic. That too in a new construction hotel like this, I am not sure if they bought some used linen from somewhere else. Most of the bed linen, towels were stained. The room that was provided to us initially had glasses that was used by someone just before we checked in and we had to change room for that reason and several other reasons.

Their statement about internet is also misleading. Apparently it works only in the lobby. Their description in Expedia says, internet is free.

Was pleasant stay. Staff were so cooperative. Food was also delicious.

Fishy smell, towels and bedsheets are not cleaned. The breakfast is horrible

It is a very nice hotel, just opposite to railway station and very close to the temple.
The property is very clean and the hotel staff is very welcoming .

The white towels were not white, they look dirty
No hot water, the water flow is slim
No exhaust fan in bathroom, therefore the bathroom smell spreads into the room
No laundry service, but they helped with drying our wet clothes

The rooms are clean, hotel staff courteous. Food average. I think couple of floors still under construction, no hand rails for the staircase.

Good place, very helpful staff. A new place, some teething problems, (like was yet to start Card swiping facility, restaurant) but acceptable.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Great location within town and next to train station. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue is that hotel is still in process of construction so very noisy during day, but that subsides in the afternoon. But, didn't matter as everything else was great.

One of the better properties in Rameshwaram. Well located, reasonably priced, neat and efficient service. They took pains to see that our stay was comfortable
