Mangia's Pollina Resort

Beschwerde wegen nicht erhaltener Zimmerkategorie und mangelnder Unterkunft.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und Terrasse gebucht. Mein Wunsch: im 1. OG.

Leider erhielt ich bei meiner Ankunft ein Zimmer, dessen kleines Fenster direkt auf eine Hauswand zeigte.
Erst nach über 3 Stunden (2 Stunden nach Ankunft und nochmals 1 Std. in der Nacht) an der Rezeption konnte mir schließlich ein anderes Zimmer zugewiesen werden, dieses befand sich jedoch im Erdgeschoss und roch stark nach Schimmel.

Ich empfinde dies als klare Vertragsverletzung sowie als unzumutbare Beeinträchtigung meines Aufenthalts. Ich fordere daher eine angemessene Rückerstattung des Preises bzw. eine Entschädigung.

Meine Freundin hat 1/3 meines Preises bezahlt, da sie die billigste Kategorie gebucht hatte. Sie erhielt bei Ankunft ein upgrade und erhielt ein Zimmer mit Terrasse.

Weitere Freunde kamen nachts an, erhielten 1 Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, das nach Schimmel roch und haben sofort ein Zimmer im 1. OG erhalten.

Everything was fantastic, especially all the staff.. Francesca, Emillio, Melania, Guissepe, Atilla, Anthony, Gabriella, Cecilia, performer Frederica..Fabiola... molto molto bellisimo, tutto solo numero uno.

Beautiful property outside of Cefalù. We had a car so easy to go into town. This hotel is searched on a beautiful bluff and has a lovely little beach that you take an elevator too. The pizza place was very good with amazing views. Very good value for the room.

Chambre propre, personnel au petit soin et emplacement idéal ! En revanche petit bémol sur la qualité des points de restauration.

Struttura a 4 stelle. Resort meraviglioso incastonato in un parco con vista mozzafiato. Piscina, svago, mare, relax, ecc. Pacchetto inclusive ma da calcolare molti extra a parte, come: aperitivi, acqua oltre alle due bottiglie di benvenuto in camera, gelati e tutto quello non incluso. Più si soggiorna più si spende. A mio parere, Ottimo per brevi permanenze per un paio di giorni. Location mozzafiato, nulla di invidiare a paesi esotici. Ombrellone e straio compresi in piscina e spiaggia con chiosco (sabbia scura, pietre e appena entri aqua alta) 2 asciugamani da spiaggia in dotazione. Bagno senza ciabatte da doccia. Occorrente bagno essenziale. Più di 350 stanze. Molte famiglie. Cani ammessi di piccola e media taglia. Il climatizzatore della camera si stacca non appena c'è una finestra aperta. Tanti eventi organizzati. Piscina per i piccoli e piccolo parco giochi. Molto verde. Resort di fronte alle isole eolie. Campo tennis, calcetto, ecc. Ci ritornerei.

Veramente ottima struttura con servizi eccellenti, il mare bellissimo da rifare con piacere

Excellent resort avec un accès par ascenseur à la plage privée. Vues magnifiques. Excellent PDJ et dîner.

Points négatifs :
Non adapté à des couples car plus de 80% des clients étaient des familles italiennes avec des bébés. Très bruyant dans le restaurant… Dommage.

Us older people had to walk far from our car. Everything else was excellent

We stayed 6 days at Mangia’s Pollina Resort. While the location is truly stunning—with incredible views, a great pool, beach access, and a nice room—the overall experience did not meet expectations.

There was a general lack of information throughout our stay. The website provided little detail on activities, and the weekly program was incomplete. We had to ask staff about basic things like the shuttle to Cefalù or evening entertainment, which could easily have been communicated more clearly.

One of the most frustrating parts was the inability to access drinking water. It wasn’t allowed to refill bottles at the water stations around the resort, and bottled water was only available for €3 per 0.5L at the pool bar.

At the pizzeria, we had trouble enjoying our meals due to an overwhelming number of wasps—there were constantly several on our food.

Lunch options were very limited and overpriced. A small sandwich and drink easily cost over €20 per person, which felt unreasonable for the quality.

Lastly, the service in the restaurants was not up to standard. Staff seemed stressed and rushed, often interrupting us and asking for payment too early. It may be due to language barriers, but some basic training in English and service would help a lot.

Reception staff were kind and helpful throughout, but overall, we left disappointed and unlikely to return.

Tutto perfetto

Bra hotell överlag men börjar bli lite slitet. Badhanddukarna luktade illa trots tvättade, rummet kändes mörkt och med dålig ventilation. AC:n funkade inte i barnrummet. Saknades varor i butiken på hotellet. Alldeles för dyrt för vad det var. Bra pool!

Fantastic place! Would absolutely recommend this resort

I was presently surprised when we arrived at this hotel as it is an all inclusive resort but isn’t advertised as one anywhere on Expedia and the hotel’s own website. We were only here for 2 nights but wish we were here for longer. The restaurants are great here and really good pizza. Absolutely stunning maintained gardens throughout the hotel and views of cefalu mountains.

The only downsides I have to mention is that the hotel has a shuttle which isn’t advertised well as we ended up paying €60 for a return taxi to cefalu without being told upon check in that there is a free hotel shuffle available for us.

The hotel is also poorly signposted with a lack of signage to illustrate where you are and where the bars and restaurants are (they are massively spread out) we ended up getting lost many times!

Also the hotel needs to improve accessibility for all guests as there are no lifts and there are unnecessary added extra steps and stairs everywhere. I feel for those who require accessibility needs as this beautiful hotel isn’t suitable for them as a result.

Beau resort , belle plage , buffet italien et petits déjeuners très bien . Jolie chambre , bonne literie . Point négatif : le resort étant très grand , des navettes seraient les bienvenues
