We have had a fantastic experience here.
We travelled as a family of 2 adults and 1 child (aged 10). We stayed in a senior suite, and found having the extra bit of space and 2 bathrooms so useful. I had seen previously some issues with insects and using the TV; our room was very clean, with cleaners in throughout the day, and we had no issues with insects. There is a guide in both sections of the room for how to use the remotes for the TVs.
We stayed in room 246 which was perfect for us. It is on the 2nd floor of the hotel, facing onto the family pool with a garden terrace. Again, I had seen some reviews mentioning the garden rooms being dark; this was not the case for us. The garden is in shade until later in the afternoon but has lovely sun in the evening. The room did not feel at all dark.
Staff, in the Maxi club and throughout the hotel, have been very attentive and so kind to my son. Maxi club staff learned his name quickly and made a fuss of him at his last session. My son loved the chocolate fountain at dinner, and staff went out of their way to prepare a bowl of strawberries although they were not out with other fruit. Generally at dinner staff made a fuss of him, learning his name and letting him pick where to sit.
The slides and the surf pool were a big hit for us, as well as the treehouse. Lots of fun to be had!
We took walks down to the beaches in the evening - a really beautiful coastline with lots of nice shops/cafes to stop in at.
Thank you so much for an amazing stay!
Beautiful hotel, outstanding customer service and highest standard of cleanliness. The suites are fantastic for accommodating families, the balconies especially are huge. Breakfast was exceptional, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. We will return.
It was clean, loads to do for the kids, breakfast buffet was perfect. Late night entertainment was lovely.
Loved it all rooms brilliant. Breakfast was super.
Amazing hotel, perfect location for beaches and nightlife. Service from staff was excellent nothing was too much trouble, rooms super clean and fresh but also the quietist rooms I have ever stayed in.
Pools and waterpark were great for kids too keep them entertained all day.
Food was great and reasonably priced for the quality.
Would defiantly return amazing holiday destination.
Todo el conjunto,
A wonderful hotel, great location, delicious fresh food, amazing facilities for kids, staff were all brilliant. A fantastic clean, well run hotel. 10 mins walk from beach, shops, restaurants etc. Easy access to loads of day trips. We went to Siam Park (amazing!), did snorkeling with turtles trip and a Medieval horse show (only ok).
However, between us we had 5 rooms and despite engineers etc trying not one of the tvs in anyones rooms worked. They obviously have a serious issue with their providers. Only annoying as World Cup is on.

Myself and family are not long back from a week long stay in this hotel and to say it was horrendous is an extreme understatement. My family and I do Tenerife every year and have stayed in some 4 star hotels that are much better, cleaner, & kept to a much higher standard than this hotel and they also weren’t bug infested unlike this supposed “5 star hotel”. When we arrived at this hotel, the first thing that I noticed was an overpowering musty/damp smell followed by how dirty the bed linen/sheets were, they had ink marks that were consistent with bed bug fecal marks and when we woke up the following morning I noticed rusty coloured spotting dotted all over the linen on each bed, again consistent with bedbugs. Upon further inspection we then noticed every corner of the room was infested with termites and their larvae, they were eating away at all the wood in the room which as a result was rotting and falling away, not exactly giving 5 star hotel. We also noticed these termites had made their way into my baby’s suitcase - you should be able to leave your suitcase in your hotel room without it becoming infested. We called reception and asked to be moved to another room naively believing it was just an isolated incident and not all rooms would be infested, oh how was I wrong. The second room, just as bad. Every part of the floor crawling, every corner hundreds of them. Which tells me either the rooms aren’t being cleaned to a high standard or that the infestation is that bad even when cleaning these are still EVERYWHERE. Again, we were moved. This time we were put in a harmony suite and at 4am I woke up to bedbugs crawling on the bed. Feeling disgusted I left the room and sat in the reception from 4am cold, upset and wanting this nightmare to end. My family and I then booked a flight home which we decided to cancel due to jet2 pointing out the fact our luggage would need treated and out of fear of bringing these home, as well as not wanting to ruin our kids holiday we decided to see out the remaining few days we had left. The hotel agreed to treat and wash all our luggage, move us to a room that they claimed was “the owners suite” where no other guest is allowed to stay usually (I believe this is one of the many lies they told) and compensated us (likely in an attempt to keep us quiet). That night we all had to go out for dinner in our beachwear from that day because everything else we brought was being treated for bedbugs and washed. The following morning when our clothes came back every single thing had been shrunk to a fraction of the size it once was, my bikinis were the size of my 4 year old, my clothes the same. My 7 year olds clothes would’ve fit her 10 month old baby brother. As well as being shrunk around 80% of them were also damaged, my partners designer tops had the writing and designs washed off them, everything was bobbled and fraying (everything was brand new). Thousands of pounds worth of clothes, ruined. I spent that whole day crying in the room. 2 members of staff then came back and told us that they hadn’t shrunk our clothes and we were lying… so apparently I just brought 4 whole suitcases of clothing that were too small for all of us and ruined? I paid thousands for a hotel but then brought old ruined clothes that didn’t fit any of us? Make it make sense. The woman said if we were to claim hotel insurance we were to leave the thousands of pounds worth of stuff with them or else I could claim my own insurance. Of course I wasn’t leaving thousands of pounds worth of clothes with them when they had already robbed my family of thousands (I would rather be able to give them to charity). When we got home we tried to claim our insurance as the staff member suggested and the insurance asked for a report from the hotel confirming the laundry issue and they’ve point blank refused to give us one. So we are now at a complete loss. They’ve cost us THOUSANDS. Without a single ounce of remorse! - I would also like to add when we were sitting at the pool we got chatting to another family, the guy was COVERED in bedbug bites, all in clusters as you’d expect. He called reception as he also suspected bedbugs - he had never had anything like that before being in this hotel and the reception told him there had been no other reports of bedbugs which was a blatant lie considering they were at that point actively dealing with my family’s report of bedbugs. They’ve told so many lies to try stop the truth from coming out and took thousands from guest claiming they are a “5 star hotel” when they don’t even meet the hygiene standards of a 2 star. Disgusting.
The pools are convenient with children
The water park is amazing and the water are warm
The room is big
The food is very basic - nothing is spiced and no salads
The area has nothing to offer by foot
Servicio de ludoteca de niños Baby Club. Servicio de preparación de pures para niños bajo encargo.
The best hotel for families, absolutely 5* in my opinion. The food is really high quality for 'buffet' style, we loved the breakfast selections! The facilities are outstanding, every single member of staff we encountered including all the hardworking cleaning staff were so friendly and polite, especially with our 1 year old son. Rooms are exceptional & location is perfect - do not miss a visit to del duque beach and that side of Adeje it is beautiful. Would highly recommend anyone with kids to visit this hotel & even without, we will definitely be back & are considering a short trip for our honeymoon child free so we can make use of the adult only facilities (which look fab!)
Thank you GF Victoria for an unforgettable stay.
Todo en general

There are many positives to this hotel. Unfortunately for us our room / view from our balcony was not one of them....
The GF Victoria website provides some lovely looking pictures and a very appealing room description:
"Beautiful views towards the sea, pool or garden, private terrace, luxury and all the amenities you and your family deserve. If you've chosen one of our Senior Suites, you are a lucky guest."
As per attached photo I'm afraid our reality fell short of the expectations that had been set... Our frustration had been further increased by the TUI website (who we booked with) which specifically stated we would receive a pool view. The hotel confirmed upon check in that the TUI website was incorrect and that the room that had been allocated was all that was available.
As someone who enjoys spending time on their balcony we requested a move to a more suitable room. Unfortunately we did not hear back from reception.
Whilst there are many positives to the hotel, the reality is we would not have booked to stay based on the room we were allocated.
We have since contacted TUI who acknowledged the error on their website and advised they will be updating their room description. This does however further add to our frustrations in that it confirms we did not receive the room that we booked....
This was our returning year on year visit and this time was even better than the last.
We were already aware of the rooms and facilities, but these were kept to a fantastic standard with housekeeping going above and beyond every time.
Even during a busy period, there were always available spaces around the pools, with lifeguards always on hand. (we did witness one of the lifeguards having to jump into the pool to help a child and were incredibly impressed with the responsiveness).
Food for breakfast and dinner at the buffet was equally impressive and seems to get better each year. Special mention goes to the Cucumber & Lime juice at breakfast which our fussy 3 year old was obsessed with.
The animation team were all fantastic and our son really was able to get the full benefits of the amazing things they have available. All were brilliant, but special shout out for Olga who our son hasn't stopped talking about and refers to as his 'best friend'.
It's easy to talk about facilities, food, etc. But the real benefit of GF Victoria is the 'vibe'. From staff, to guests, everyone is happy and friendly. This makes a massive impact. In addition to the fact that the whole property feels incredibly safe and secure. Nothing makes us happier than to arrive at the hotel and for our son to be confident, independent, and treat it as a second home.
Can't wait to come again next year.
