Hotel stay with a big thumbs up
Pros:

I stayed at the GF Victoria for a week with family. The hotel is situated close to the beach and is a short walk to restaurants, bars, & other amenities. The hotel is excellent. Modern in design, well laid out with 2 excellent family pool areas & is kept extremely clean. It also has a small water park & other sporting options such as paddle, table tennis, & a surfing pool to name a few. Every single member of staff was friendly and took the time to greet you in meeting. The pool side staff & sky bar staff were excellent and attentive. And the maid did a fantastic job cleaning our room. As we arrived we were welcomed by Nico. Very friendly and escorted us straight to reception. Our room wasn't quite ready but we were offered a room to get changed in so we could use the pools if we wished. The booking in was efficient but provided my only slight negative of our stay. Having stayed in many 5* establishments it is nice to be greeted with a welcome drink as part of the check-in procedure. Here however, there was a brief mention of the fact you could attend the bar and you would receive one. It felt as if they couldn't be bothered & that they'd of had a result if we didn't claim it. That said we did accept the gesture and had a nice cold drink after our journey. If only they provided it immediately upon arrival I wouldn't have had any negative at all. We stayed B&B. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Even English bacon & sausage on offer as well as local cuisine. Smoothies, fresh fruit, and array of juices, cereal, toasties, and an excellent egg station. There were always sunbeds available & towels available for use throughout the day. The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable. We had a room with 2 bathrooms which was brilliant so our 15 year old had her own time and space to get ready to go out of an evening. We ate out each night so cannot comment on any of the restaurants available within the hotel. We were however nicely surprised by the pool side food & drink value. It made a refreshing change that a family could eat & drink & not feel like they were being ripped off. Great value indeed. There is probably so much more to say about this hotel but I'd highly recommend you just go and find out for yourselves as its a brilliant hotel & experience in my opinion. But I will add the adults each get a free hour in the spa. Regardless of my slight negative I would give this hotel 10/10. I would have no hesitation in returning should I ever visit Costa Adeje again in the future. And a final sign off is the view from the sky bar. What a fantastic place to sit and unwind. Mountains to the rear & the ocean to the front. What more could you wish for......

Nice hotel, good for families
Pros:

Decent hotel, nice big suite style rooms with separate lounge and an extra bathroom, which works well if you are sharing with your kids, or like to put all your kids in one room and don’t want to squash them.

Very large maze like layout which I didn’t mind. Breakfast was large and reasonably good with no queueing. Pool areas huge and while the upper pool tended to be busier we didn’t have an issue getting beds, but preferred the lower pool which is slightly quieter. There is a big mall right across the road with a couple of restaurants for lunch and a supermarket. Entertainment was typical eclectic Tenerife after dinner shows and we also went across the road to the hotel opposite to watch their entertainment and have drinks which was fun too. Didn’t eat dinner in hotel so can’t comment- always walked down the coast.

Two minor faults. Firstly turn down service actually happening was slightly hit and miss which seemed odd given we didn’t go out particularly late for dinner. Also they have a real standing water problem around their upper pool. Literally deep puddles from early in the morning which you actually would have to walk round if you were wearing shoes. This makes no sense to me, because firstly it’s just a bit grim and lowers the tone of it, and secondly it’s actually dangerous if someone was to slip over. They have a load of lifeguard/security types round the pool who were very happy to spend all day blowing whistles at kids taking their inflatables to the wrong pool but no resource to pay someone to sweep/squeegee the water into a drain a couple of times a day. I really don’t understand why they don’t sort this. Also no handrail on the steep stairs between pools, even with the steps often wet with kids going up and down. Such a bizarre safety miss even for the canaries- what’s it going to cost to sort these things out, literally nothing for a large resort hotel.

Anyway overall had a great time and would recommend.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

Excellent hotel, perfectly located to nearby shops and beach. Hotel was immaculately clean and staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always approachable.
Nice touch with the turn down service, delivering water and chocolates each evening and preparing the rooms for bedtime.
Only piece of feedback would be to consider bottle refill station. The price of water in the hotel is quite expensive. There is a supermarket opposite in the downstairs of the shopping mall which sells 1.5litre bottles for less a euro.

Overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to families and couples. Thank you GF Victoria, we will return in the future!

A wonderful week
Pros:

A well run, exceptionally clean and all round excellent family hotel. Our kids (ages 5 and 4) loved the kids club and had to be dragged away most days! Lucia and all the girls there do a fantastic job. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice. The pools never seem too crowded, despite it being high season. The room (senior suite) is lovely but could do with more storage (a small issue). In terms of location, it’s close to lots of nice restaurants. We mostly ate outside of the hotel for dinner.

Amazing, but used to be better...
Pros:

This is our 4th year at the hotel and in the main it is fantastic. The rooms are incredible. The facilities are great and the staff are all lovely albeit you don't make the relationships with them that you do in other places. However, that is due to the size and scale of the hotel.

So what has prevented me from rating it 5*. Well firstly, the entertainment is a bit rubbish. It's not on for long and it's never the best. This is a minor inconvenience as some people won't even bother with it, but I've had better at worse hotels.

Secondly though, and most importantly, there used to be a very stringent policy on not reserving sunbeds. This was a major reason for us rebooking. I am not one for sunbed wars. And those of you who will go down to the pool at 6am to reserve a spot have a special place in my hell. For the first couple of years, you could see staff going round, collecting towels (all provided by the hotel) off unused sunbeds. Meaning there was never a shortage. However the last couple of years, this is no longer done and it can be a nightmare to get a sunbed at any of the pools if you're not there early. Considering signage around the pool still states there is no reserving of sunbeds, it's frustrating that this is no longer enforced.

Other than this, there are some signs of age, particularly around the "slides pool' but that didn't negatively affect my experience.

We had a lovely stay, would recommend.
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel, and we would definitely visit again.

A friend recommended this hotel to us, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. I was a little concerned about visiting during the school summer holidays, but there was no sense of chaos. There were always plenty of sunbeds available, and the hotel manages busy periods exceptionally well. With so many different areas for guests to enjoy, it never felt overcrowded or detracted from our stay.

The location is excellent, set in an upmarket area with lovely shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The beach is also just a 5–10 minute walk away.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay.

The facilities are fantastic. Our daughter especially loved the surf pool and made the most of it almost every day. The entertainment team were excellent, with plenty of activities on offer throughout the day for those who wanted to join in. There was also a mini disco and evening shows every night, which were a great addition for families.

The food and service were both of a consistently high standard. We chose to eat at the hotel for most of our stay, particularly enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the poolside restaurant in the evenings.

My only minor criticism would be the lobby bar. The décor and furniture feel a little dated and have more of a conference lounge feel than a welcoming hotel bar, which perhaps explains why it was usually quite empty. We were travelling with two children, so we didn’t make use of the rooftop bar, but the lobby bar area is a lovely, bright space and would have been nice to enjoy a pre-dinner drink there if it had more of a vibe.

Would recommend!

A Luxury Stay That Truly Delivers – Exceptional for Families and Neurodiverse Children
Pros:

We recently stayed here with our autistic daughter, and it was one of the most supportive and comfortable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel is on the pricier side, but the cost reflects the luxury, the amenities, and the consistently high standard of service. For us, the value was undeniable.
The hotel layout is ideal for children who need quieter spaces to regulate. There are calm areas throughout, and our room was incredibly spacious, giving our daughter plenty of room to relax in comfort whenever she needed downtime. The quality of the furnishings, cleanliness, and daily service was noticeably higher‑end.
She absolutely loved the kids’ club. The staff were amazing with her—patient, understanding, and genuinely engaging. She enjoyed it so much she wanted to go every single day, which has never happened anywhere else we’ve stayed. Their care and attentiveness felt far above standard family‑hotel service.
We didn’t choose half board because we like exploring local restaurants, and having the flexibility to eat outside the buffet works best for our daughter. However, we did try the buffet one evening and the choice was outstanding—plenty of variety and great quality. We also ate at the hotel’s à la carte restaurant by the pool, which was lovely: quiet, relaxing, and perfect for a calmer meal.
I’ve seen some reviews mention noise, but during our two‑week stay there were only two weddings, and both finished their music by 10pm. If it were every night it might be an issue, but it absolutely wasn’t our experience.
The breakfast buffet can be busy, but that’s expected in a luxury family hotel. We asked to sit in quieter areas, and staff were always accommodating. The food was very good, especially for picky eaters—our daughter found all her usual home comforts.
The activities are fantastic and all included: mini golf, tennis, ping pong, football, basketball, water slides, and varied daily entertainment. The gym is modern and well equipped, and the pools are heated—another luxury touch we appreciated.
For parents needing a breather, the adult‑only pool and bar area is perfect. Great cocktails, nice wine, and attentive service whether you’re at your table or sunbed. There were always sunbeds available and as many fresh towels as you needed.
The location is ideal—just a short 5‑minute walk to the beach, with shops right outside for essentials and plenty of restaurants nearby.
The rooms are beautiful and genuinely designed for families: lots of space, separate bedrooms, balconies with outdoor seating, two bathrooms, and a kitchen area perfect for prepping snacks or warming bottles. Housekeeping was excellent, with daily cleaning and evening turndown service.
Overall, while the hotel is more expensive than others we’ve stayed at, the quality of the amenities, the thoughtful design, and the exceptional service—especially for families with additional needs—make it absolutely worth it. We will definitely return.

5 Stars +
Pros:

We traveled middle June as a family off 7 it my Father in law’s 80th birthday gift.

The moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the concierge who brought us to the reception. When we walked into the Hotel we were greeted by reception staff who were very welcoming.

We were shown our rooms which were overlooking the Entertainment area. They had a lovely package waiting for us off chocolates & fresh water. The room was exceptional and had everything you needed.

Breakfast selection was excellent. Staff were helpful if you needed looking after if you had allergies.

The pool on the 2nd floor had enough sun beds for everyone throughout the day. You could get towels every day at the pool station just return them when you’re finished. Kids loved the different activities at the pool the staff did a great service. The sea salt pool down below the main pool was perfect.

The 5th Floor where the slides and other activities were great kept kids busy. There is activities at the hotel to enjoy ie paddle board, table tennis & much more.

The Adults bar & pool is on a different level highly recommended.

There is so much variety with this hotel and everyone that works at the hotel did a fantastic job in making sure guests are made feel like they’re at home.

We are looking forward to returning to this amazing Hotel.

Outstanding stay
Pros:

We stayed at GF Victoria during the first week of the summer holidays, and what surprised us most was just how quiet and well organised everything was. Having travelled during school holidays before, I was expecting the usual battle for sunbeds, but there simply wasn’t one.

The pool areas don’t open until 9:30am, and although some people would put their towels down before heading off for breakfast, there were still plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and tables available throughout the day. Even at lunchtime, when the main family pool was at its busiest, there were always beds available. One afternoon we went up to the water park on the fifth floor after lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find there were still plenty of sunbeds there too. It was so refreshing not to have to stress about finding somewhere to sit every day.

The food was excellent with a huge amount of variety. The buffet changed theme each evening, and there were always fresh pasta dishes, freshly cooked meats and plenty of options for everyone. Breakfast was outstanding with so much choice. My boys absolutely loved the freshly made pancakes and waffles with unlimited Nutella! There were also chefs cooking omelettes and fried eggs to order, which was a lovely touch.

Our room was spotless and was cleaned every morning without fail. In other hotels we’ve stayed in, housekeeping has sometimes been late in the day or occasionally missed altogether, so this was really appreciated. The housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, happily bringing anything extra we needed. Fresh bottled water was replenished every evening, and there was always more than enough for the three of us.

The location is excellent. I’d read a few reviews mentioning concerns about security because the hotel is open to the street, but honestly, I didn’t find this to be an issue at all. Reception was always well staffed, and the hotel is situated in a lovely, upmarket area opposite a high-end shopping centre, so we always felt perfectly safe.

We didn’t venture far from the hotel because there was so much to enjoy there, apart from one evening stroll to the beach and a day trip to Playa Las Américas, which was only a short taxi ride away.

Overall, we had an amazing holiday, and GF Victoria exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to every member of staff who made our stay so enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Costa Adeje.

Everything You Need for a Perfect Family Holiday
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for families.

The hotel is modern, very clean, and well maintained throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The food was very good, with plenty of choice and consistently good quality.

The pool areas were spotless, with comfortable sun loungers and plenty of towels available. The adults-only Sky Bar was a lovely addition, offering great views, an infinity pool, and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busier areas.

The staff were friendly, polite, and always happy to help.

There was plenty to keep the children entertained throughout the day, with foam parties, inflatable pool slides, and water games. The hotel also catered for every age group with baby, mini, maxi, and teen clubs.

The aquatic park was another highlight, featuring a couple of water slides, a splash area, a tennis court, a climbing area, mini golf, a multi-sports court, and even a surf pool. There really is something for everyone – you couldn’t ask for much more.

We didn’t get the chance to try the BioSpa or the à la carte restaurant, but based on the rest of the hotel, I’m sure they would have been just as impressive.

Overall, I honestly couldn’t fault the hotel. It exceeded our expectations and made for a brilliant holiday. We would definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Allergies - nailed it
Pros:

Brilliant stay, lots of positives

1) the pools do not open until 930, meaning I can have breakfast with my family instead of needing to reserve sun beds as with other resorts

2) Gluten free is very good, everyday a fresh dish was prepared for my wife out back to remove the cross contamination risk. There is also a GF area with pre packaged items to choose from, the pastries per my wife were very good

3) The restaurant staff were awesome, my youngest has ARFID which means he only eats a few selected items so we bring our own food, one thing he does eat is strawberries so without asking the waiting staff would bring him a fresh bowl of strawberries. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely wanted to make the stay great.

4) I cannot remember his name, but there is a chap who lived in Windsor for 10 years so his English is awesome, he took great care to explain the process for allergies, there is a separate kitchen with controlled access for only chefs to control any allergy orders, never seen this before, it’s class

5) Waterpark was brilliant

6) Room was good, clean and a good size

7) Entertainment was good, we had the carnival on our last night which was perfect

We are back in May 27
