Pros:

Robot Delivery of packages

Cons:

The options for vegetarians was very poor considering its a ACCOR hotel. Most of the staff did not know English. No Room Service or Restaurant on the property ( other than for breakfast)

中国のホテルは英語名と中国語名があり探すのが大変です。駅から徒歩圏内とあったのでここに決めましたが、駅からの道をgooglemapでたどるのに2時間かかりました!　taxiにすると言ったら、また駅に戻らないとtaxiはないと言われ、2時間かかりました。駅構内も広く表示がわかりにくいです。
人は大変親切で最後は一緒にホテル前まで同行してくれました

入口がわかりにくいです。特に暗くなったらわからないです

Ethics and integrity should be a part of the hotel policy
Pros:

I by mistake left behind a small package of a gift after checking out I realised that I have not packed the gift. Upon calling the receptionist twice I was informed that there’s nothing left behind. Now how could it disappear from the room. It has to be taken away by the housekeeper. The hotel refuses to acknowledge this. That’s sad. They didn’t even want to investigate this. The gift left behind was expensive. Sad but this usually doesn’t happen in a branded chain

Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, staff not speaking english but very cooperative in trying to communicate (with phone translator).

Cons:

The hotel is classified as 'close to Hongqiao airport', but in reality it is not so close, it takes approx ten minutes by taxi. For sure not a walkable distance. The internal restaurant is offering only breakfast, no dinner and no room service, so the only alternative is to walk around (where there are only dining places for locals, a bit difficult situation for foreigners, as nobody speaks english). Wi-fi connection procedure difficult (it is necessary to return to the reception to ask for helpt), and then working very poor, slow and with frequent interruptions. Overall experience definitely lower than Mercure standards.

注意标间千万别定单人间写的是twinbed,其实是单人床!
Pros:

一开始给了一间超级小的房间。非常惊讶，mercure竟然有这么局促的房间后来知道，(每层几十间房就4间角上的房特小，躺在床看见天花板比床大一点点，还是斜的）。 订的是twinbed写在英文订单上的 . 房间里的床竟然是个单人床，。跟hotels 打电话，他们也很帮我沟通 但是前台一个男生非常不变通，非说我订的就是这种房间。本来其他员工说可以换别的房，他还不让。第二天早上我出门这个男生跟我说抱歉，并帮我后换到了大的标间。其实早这样大家都开心，在有房的基础上，客户开心，自然传播好口碑。后来看了一些评价，很多别人的评价都不好，作为4星级的mercure 曾经是我非常信赖的品牌，别换了中国东家欧洲气质全没了！这个楼可能造型比较特别，四角房间造型各异，那几间真是很难受，如果是2星级酒店，我也就不说什么了，建议酒店把每层角上2间改成一个套间卖，要不谁住都难受。最后结果还可以，酒店还是懂道理的。所以继续支持。

駅までのシャトルバスが1時間に1本しかないため結果不便。タクシーを呼んでもらったら10分程度で来るがお金がかかるので意味がない。ホテル周りは夜になると怖いくらいに真っ暗で何もない。

なぜキャンセルになったか疑問に思います。
そのほかは完璧でした。

Doesn't reach the minimum acceptable standard.
Pros:

Check in was fine. Two of the elevators weren't working and one that was was also filthy and unfinished. The the hallway carpets are all stained and somewhat disgusting. When I got to my first room the bathroom had a bit of an off-smell, however this only intensified until a couple hours later when the entire room was inundated with the stench of sewage. After about 30 minutes of discussion and inspection, the staff moved me to another room. Unfortunately the toilet did not properly function there.

This was my third stay at this hotel. The previous two times I had been put off my the dirtiness of the elevators and the hallways, but the room was so cheap and so convenient to the Hongqiao rail station that I took the good with the bad, but the continued decline has put this hotel on my blacklist.

I travel in China regularly for business and realize that the standards there are different than in Europe - in some ways they are better, in others worse - but this hotel is just below what I would consider a minimum acceptable standard. Spend a bit of extra money and go somewhere else...
