A comfortable space away from home.
Pros:

The rooms provided above and beyond a standard hotel room. The staff were amazing and I cannot thank them enough, so friendly and accomodating. Check in and out was easy. I was so comfortable.

Last minute stay due to house repairs
Pros:

And found this unexpected gem in the suburbs. We stayed here for 3 nights while repairs to our house were done and what a surprise experience! The hotel is beautifully designed, the room (deluxe king) was very comfortable (great bed, pillows, plenty of space and very clean). Only negative on the room is there is no door to the bathroom and the door to the toilet & shower are glass and facing the bed. Privacy is not a thing this room heard of. I believe some things should remain a mystery to my partner and would have preferred at least a solid door on the toilet instead of glass.
The Heroic Cafe serves good coffee and cafe style meals but is closed on Saturday which was disappointing. There aren't many offsite local options for dinner so we ate at the Newmarket Room (2 of 3 nights and 1 night had room service). Room service was quick (less than half an hour from ordering to delivery) and very fresh and hot. The restaurant food is excellent, a little pricey but the service is 5 star. Catering to allergies so much so on the 2nd night, the chef offered to make a special pasta dish (and I am so happy I trusted him/her). They should add that pasta dish to the menu it was so good.
This hotel should be very proud of it's people for the excellent service we received throughout our stay: front desk, housekeeping, room service, dining service and kitchen staff. all top notch.

An excellent option for wedding guests
Pros:

Large, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast included in tariff. Incorrect bed configuration dealt with efficiently.

Cons:

No bathroom door. Incorrect room allocation - double instead of twin. Insufficient staff on reception - only one person also dealing with phone calls at busy check-in time. I had to return to the desk to report the room problem.
