Check in was difficult

It was filthy, we had 3 rooms, one of the bathrooms had black mold. The carpet in the hallway and the rooms were just dirty. The hand rail on one of the staircases to the second floor wasn’t attached. The water didn’t drain in the showers. The dust on the wall hanging above the beds was appalling.
The location to the castle and restaurants was ideal
Our room was so far in the back we had to go through four sets of fire doors just to go back outside to an alley entrance. The alley was very smelly with trash buns located right outside our windows. Also Very noisy with bars next door dumping bottles all night into the bins. The carpet was dirty and worn. All in all this property is very tired. Staff was limited and not available after 8:00 pm.
We were worried having read some recent reviews but I cannot fault the contact with the young lady who let us into the property even though our flight was badly delayed and we didn’t arrive until well past midnight she responded straight away and came down to meet us within moments. The two bedroomed apartments was clean and comfortable- yes a tad tired but it exceeded our expectations. Tea, coffee, milk and sweet treats provided.
The location is fantastic in the centre of Stirling but with that comes you get noise from the street - pub and club kicking out is rather rowdy so take good earplugs! And it’s such a shame the bar and restaurant is shut but plenty of options on your doorstep.

Difficult to find, even harder to find parking, incredibly small bathroom especially shower, front door code did not work, fortunately back door did, no milk for cuppa, ringing a mobile for check in and hoping someone was on site, not entirely as described

Sin ascensor, nos tocó subir 4 pisos con las maletas. El hall y distribución de habitaciones sucio y mal cuidado. El baño muy pequeño.
Central location in the middle of the town. Nice spacious room with vintage furniture.
Water pressure in the shower was great.
