Location was good. Breakfast was very good, staff were great
Charge for parking, needs a bit of updating
Near to location of show
Car parking fees, staff rude, breakfast not included and says with yourself £12 but actually £14. Per person. Was made to feel loke a criminal at breakfast as told not paid for breakfast in front of all our fellow traders. Husband went to check with reception they saud all was good but had not passed on to breakfast staff poor comminicatoon.
Location friendly staff. Views
Nothing really we were put on 3rd floor with so many stairs. But is an old property so nothing can be done
Staff helpful to carry luggage up and down
Checking out
Outdated. Very very small shower. The breakfast was disgusting. Had to pay for parking. And over all very shabby for the price
It was clean
Dated and unfriendly
Location of the hotel is great for Llangollen or if you are staying for a Wedding at Tyn Dwr.
We stayed at this hotel over the weekend and unfortunately were quite disappointed with our experience. The property itself feels very outdated, and the room we were given was extremely small. The walls are also paper thin.
With temperatures reaching around 25°C, the room became very hot, and as the window could barely be opened, it made the stay quite uncomfortable.
Given the price we paid, we did not feel the quality and comfort of the room offered good value for money.
Good value for money and prime location
A bit understaffed at reception during our stay
The location is fantastic overlooking the river and everything within 15 min walking distance. The outside area has been beautifully setout with bar service outside weather permitting. The room we had was very comfortable with a view of river and hills. The best part of our stay was the breakfast, buffet style with tea/coffee juice, cereal and fruit to start, then usual bacon sausage and two eggs fried/scrambled mushrooms, beans, hash brown etc.All the staff worked hard and we're very helpful and polite.
Not personal but would be difficult for people with mobility issues all stairs and no availability of a lift.Would of been nice to have plug sockets by bed but I'm nit picking everything in our room was perfect.
Breakfast was OK. We liked the location.
Dinner was terrible. A plate of thick gravy and very little lamb.z
comfy bed
very run down and dated. horrid smell throughout hotel like damp very over priced.
Excellent location, lovely gardens
Very run down. Staff very offhand, quite rude ,particularly the lady in outside bar. No hand rail in bath. Hotel generally needs modernising. Breakfast quite good, but no enthusiasm from staff.
The location - a beautiful setting on the river.
Hotel in dire need of updating, room was large, but looked like it hadn't been painted since the 1970s! Bathroom was dirty, shower merely trickled. Very expensive, and breakfast wasn't included. Not at all suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
Dog friendly. Nice bedroom area.
The shower space was very small, and the water drainage was terrible.
Breakfast was great and the location was brilliant
Location brilliant, in great part of Llangollen, lvly little balcony over the river
Rooms dated , carpets old , bathrooms tired , windows didn't open properly, had to put box under to keep open , rooms to hot as heatwave, no air , found a box to hold windows open
