Location
Small room, thin pillows, tired decor and not many staff
Great location
Needs updating a little but still good
Location.
Beds were uncomfortable.
Breakfast wasn’t worth it very bland.
Mould around the windows.
Furniture very dated.
It was a good location in Llangollen. The room was nice and had everything we needed.
Upon booking, it didn’t state that you had to pay for parking and we didn’t realise until we checked in. The room was clean, but the hotel itself didn’t seem that clean.
Amazing staff ! Best breakfast ever had in hotel's
The room had a great view of the river with a comfy bed and tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast the next day was very nice, top marks for the sausages.parking was also very accessible and easy.
Couldn't fault it for the price.
Lovely welcome
Loved the real fire
A bonus to have 2 easy chairs in the room
Breakfast was excellent
Room was rather cramped and tv was too high on the wall to watch in bed.
Charge for car parking was unexpected
Good location right by the river
Very annoying hidden parking charges. Stayed here before many times but now parking charges are not extra. . Restaurant food was not worth the money. Shame these silly little things let it down .
The location
Beds were worn out
Location and staff
Paying for parking
Food was ok.
Car parking arrangements rediculous. an account to pay via a QR code and create an account for an overnight stay and then be charged £8.40 for the privilege.
I was there to deliver a course which I have done there for a few years without previous issues. This year the room was so cold, everyone was complaining.
I stayed overnight before the course and was accommodated in room 1. Initially the room was very warm, so the heater was turned off, but it soon went cold due to the bedroom window , which could not be closed.
I notified the hotel that things were not acceptable and it is unlikely that we will be booking the hotel again for our courses.
Good location.
The price was quite expensive for the time of year. £85.50 for one night. Breakfast was £12 extra per person and car park was £8. £117.50 wasn’t value for money
Needs updating
Dated room
Uncomfortable bed
Bathroom was very basic
The real fire was lovely and welcoming
Paying for the parking as a resident of the hotel. The staff that booked us in didn't tell us breakfast times or check out times.
Traditional style says what it is truthfully.
Needs some updating!
