Great location, nice staff but accommodation left a lot to be desired.
Pros:

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was great and the river side bar.

Cons:

For the price we have expected a better quality of room, bed and bathroom. The room was small, cramped with a broken blind. The door lock was also broken so I was glad I was not on my own.
It was also very noisy, staff banging around and singing below us from about 7am.

brief but comfortable and in a great location
Pros:

lovely setting with views of the river and surrounding hills from both bedrooms and all reception rooms .We didn't have time to explore the town or use the river side terrace but its well situated .The reception rooms were spacious and reflected the age of the historic building .The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the live band that were playing in the bar next door to the restaurant after our dinner !

Cons:

The wine list at dinner could have been better but we found something suitable and prices ok .Dinner menu was ok as was the food but not a fine dining kind of place .It wasn't bad value however in these current times and I felt we got what we paid for .Didn't appreciate being charged extra for parking when a resident .

Pros:

We had an elderly small dog with us and when we checked in we were allocated a top floor room but the lady on reception changed it for us to a first floor room straight away with no fuss. Really excellent hotel, fantastic staff and great food, great location as well

Very enjoyable stay. Staff were very helpful. Good breakfast served.

Breakfast was good. Location was good. Shame we had to pay for parking as were guests.

Parking charges.
Hotel ran out of beer on tap. Disappointed with what l had to drink.
