Really enjoyed our stay with Marcia, the owner of Sunset Rooms. Know that all the properties in Tortuguero are modest

We loved staying at Sunset Rooms in Tortuguero. It was quaint and small and located at the end of the main street close to many fine restaurants. We could sit out on the front veranda and watch the boats go by. The little bar attached to it was great. Happy Hour everyday from 5-7. The manager looked after any concern. I would recommend staying here if you ever visit this quaint little town.

Sehr schön gelegen direkt am Ufer mitten im Ort; alles zu Fuß erreichbar; Service spricht schlecht Englisch aber sehr nett und bemüht

Hotel pequeño de gestión familiar con una atención extraordinaria; Marcia se encargó personalmente de ofrecernos unas s días increíbles. Dispone de una cama muy cómoda, A/C, nevera. La habitación dispone de todas las comodidades para una estancia fantástica. Ubicación ideal, a la orilla del río.

The property was close to everything. Our room was small with a balky lock but had good air con. It had a combo whirlpool bath and shower. The water was hot. Ok for the price. Little English spoken. Their recommendation for a travel agency to arrange trips tours transit was good

En général,ça s'est bien passé mais il y avait beaucoup de bruit le soir et les coqs commencent à chanter vers 4:00 du matin. Par conséquent, les nuits sont très courtes. De plus il n'y a pas de chaise dans la chambre, ce qui améliorerait le niveau de confort.

Fait supplémentaire de 20$ chargé inutilement.

Super confortable.les propriétaires etaientes attentionnés. Légèrement bruyant en journée dans les chambres mais calme la nuit.

Chambre vieillote et humide, literie a changer au plus vite ! La vue sur le fleuve est magnifique et la patrone tres gentille.

Definitely a feel of a tiny island hotel. For the money, it was just as much or more than expected. It was right on the water with lounge chairs at the waterfront, a refrigerator for cold drinks and we felt safe as it was right on the main walking street. We had a short stay and didn't spend lots of time in the room, so even though the beds were not the most comfortable, we were very pleased.

es un pequeño hotel, con habitaciones a unos cuantos metros del rio, con una preciosa terraza, y personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar.

Sehr netter Aufenthalt, mit sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeberin. Direkte Anlegestelle der Boote von Moin und Pavona. Gemütliche Terrasse mit Liegestühlen für entspannten Ausklang des Tages. Gute Lage am Ende von Tortuguera.

Very relaxing environment.

There is no sitting space in your room, but the outdoor space you don't need it. Everywhere is very clean and well maintained. There are only four rooms so not too busy. A few little touches would go a long way and maybe they would have been there if we had asked!
