Pros:

This is one of the gems of Thailand great Location we stayed 1 extra night management at the hotel was excellent and spoke prefect English and gave us tips for things to see and do.

It was overbooked and I've been downgraded
Pros:

First the hotel was overbooked. I didn't know until the date I traveled the the hotel. I called the hotel to informed that I will check-in late and the hotel can't find my bookings. The good thing is, they called Expedia to find out what happened and later Expedia staff called me and told me that it was overbooked. I'm still not sure which party (between hotel or Expedia) caused this overbooking. Anyway, I've been offered to downgraded to smaller room (standard room with some refund since I booked larger room type) at the same hotel (Pornpailin) or choose another hotel that still available. BTW, I accepted the downgraded room at Pornpailin since I didn't want to find the way to other hotel (I was still driving to the hotel at that time). So this overbooked issue was solved at last and I have to accepted it (it's New Year season anyway).

Now about the room itself, I found the room condition is lower than expected and it's expensive if you compared to similar priced room in other places in Thailand but I understand this is remote tourist area), And the hot (electric) shower didn't work and I just don't want to call the hotel to fix it since it's quite late anyway so I have to take bath with cold water.

Good thing about this place is that the included breakfast was quite tasty especially the congee and hot coffee.
