Great location, good breakfast
Pros:

Breakfast and location were great

Cons:

Smoking - but that seems to be a common problem everywhere in Switzerland, not just here.
One room opened on the patio, could not open the door or window to avoid the smoke. The other room opened on the street and had road noise.

Für einen Kurzurlaub in Ascona ist das Hotel absolut zu empfehlen
Pros:

Frühstück war lecker. Die Lage ist super gelegen

Cons:

Badezimmer/ Dusche sehr klein, Zimmer zur Strasse hin relativ laut (bei geöffneten Fenster im Bad)

Die Lage etwas weg vom Trubel und doch nag genug, Der Preis für Verhältnisse in Ascona.
Hervorzuheben sind auch die Gastgeber: Da kein Parkplatz mehr frei war, stellte mir der Chef seinen eigenen zum gleichen Preis zur Verfügung.

Klimaanlage im Raum

Cons:

Die Parksituation, In Ascona allgemein schwierig, gab es ein begrenztes Portfolio an gebührenpflichtigen Parkplätzen zum Festpreis. Wenn alle belegt, hat man Pech gehabt (außer bei meinemn o.g. Glück). Die vier öffentlichen vorm Haus sind im Sommer non-stop belegt, abends von Restauarnt-Gästen, morgens von Lieferdiensten & co.
Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, das Restauarnt ist laut bis etwa 23 Uhr und die Klimaanlage macht auch ausgeschlatet Geräusche. Zudem ist die Minibar unsäglich laut. War sehr schwierig zu schlafen...

Wir sind wegen des Wochenmarktes angereist. Der ist auf jedenfall keine Reise Wert. Fast nur Ramsch

Das Essen was die Küche bereitet har war sehr gut. Auch das Ambiente sehr gelungen.
Frühstück hatten wir nicht, deshalb keine Beurteilung möglich.

Cons:

Das Doppelbett das wir hatten im Zimmer 14 ist von sehr schlechter Qualität.
Unmöglich zu zweit schlafen zu können. wenn einer sich bewegt schaukelt die ganze Matraze auf.
Der Rest hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
