Dog friendly and amazing food in restaurant next door. Good value and big rooms
OK, place to stay if no parties taking place.
Stayed multiple times - 5+ nights in total, 2 out of those nights there were problematic neighbours in other rooms.
Score for the time when there were no other problematic neighbours would be 7
Score for the 2 nights with problematic people in other rooms would be 2 as no one took action against them and they were making noise throughout all night and sleeping was impossible.
If other rooms are occupied with problematic people it is impossible to sleep at this place, and there is nobody there at night to take action against noisy guests in other rooms.
The property is quiet and private and good value for a basic short stay for business in the area.
It is attached to/adjacent to a good pub and Indian restaurant with pleasant friendly staff. Both facilities are well used by the locals.

Staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous.
Restaurant's food was not fresh nor made to order. Colleague's shower was not working, and clearly had been out of action for a while (most expensive room, mind, which was knowingly sold to her), and a large black mould patch adorned the wall. My own room was pleasant, but had fewer light switches than lights.
The property was in a nice area and you can come and go whenever you please.
The double bed was actually two single mattresses pushed together which made it uncomfortable. There were also only two lumpy/stained pillows. The carpets were quite dirty and I had to wear shoes at all times. The bathroom floors were dirty as was the shower cubicle. Mould around the base and grime and hairs in the doors. The shower itself did not work. The pressure was very weak and the temperature went from scalding to freezing. No one came to clean our room during the two nights we were there. Empty glasses and the bins piled up. There was loud drilling noise from the garden right outside our window early both mornings. I would expect maintenance to be carried out later in the day. Pub closed at 10pm which was disappointing and not clear on the room description. One major issue is the extremely large pot holes in the car park. Unavoidable and very deep.
The staff were excellent, the room was lovely and the food was excellent.
There aren't enough electrical sockets in the room.
