Would definitely stay again and liked the cool modern comfortable vibe brilliant staff
Pros:

I would have liked the option for decaf tea but the tea on offer is good quality. I try to avoid caffeine as it’s bad for absorption of other vitamins and medications people take medication in the morning, this is when the complimentary stuff is offered. The pastry is tasty but I would prefer to have a healthier option as for alternative. Which helps with pre diabetes and those with stomach issues. A healthier similar item. But still lovey to have something and so it’s appreciated.

Cons:

The light switch for the bathroom and all the room seems to be in one place. The bathroom light switch was not even inside the bathroom. Plus you couldn’t put the bathroom mirror (light string pull) on without the main bathroom light being pressed on. Which is very bright to find if you’re going to the toilet at night in the dark. But it’s not a big issue can live with it. It’s probably the way it’s was wired in. But nice to go inside the bathroom and have the switch inside the bathroom. But it was clean and bright. Would be good also to know what was available in bathroom like if there was toothpaste or just shower gel soap and 3 towels. Then I would know what to bring exactly.
I would have perhaps liked the option to buy a sandwich not just crisps and chocolate. As I’d don’t know the area. I would love to have all the places I can grab a quick snack before I come and how far they are and what time those places close would be even better help. Like in a leaflet or on the booking site. As I arrived so late and didn’t know what was close around to eat. Though staff were friendly and informative. Plus I know it can be found on internet. But even better if it’s all in a plan in front.

Basic Better Best
Pros:

The convenience to the city centre (walking distance 20 mins), the price for a nights stay (Saturday).Plenty of choice regarding dining within 10 minutes (Ecclesall Rd). Ideal if your into Park runs Endcliffe park is just down the road. There is a kitchen on the corridor available to use. Ideal for visiting the Peak District bus stops on Ecclesall road to Hathersage, Bakewell, Castleton.

Cons:

Not a lot, I know what to expect try it for yourself it's a base what more do you need.

Really annoying noise!
Pros:

It was in a convenient place for visiting our daughter at the university

Cons:

The issue we had was the noise of a vent near our room. It continued all evening and all night and prevented us from sleeping. I tried to use my ear phones with white noise but nothing disguised the noise of the vent. It was so annoying. I went down to Reception at 11.30 to complain and it is clear that this has been an issue before with other guests. The person on Reception said she had contacted maintenance about it but nothing has been done. In the morning we were offered a partial refund but we still haven't received it.
