Great value for a comfortable and enjoyable stay
Pros:

Every opportunity was taken to make the most of the space, to give character & make it a pleasant place to be - great design! It was exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Good kitchen facilities including lots of space. Very comfy bed. Strong, hot shower. Excellent lighting everywhere. Good value. Perfect location for visiting students.

Cons:

I didn't dislike anything. Obviously there isn't a lot of space but that was made clear and is reflected in the price, plus rooms are so well designed you don't miss the space much.

Good price. A few quibbles.
Pros:

Quiet location. Friendly staff. Good that parking was available on site.

Cons:

Bed was rather small and could have been more supportive. No kettle in the room. Fire alarms went off twice.

Pros:

Jonas is absolutely worth it!

Fantastic location, Uber isn't expensive from the train station to the university at all, and it's really close to Botanical Gardens etc etc.

I had a double room, perfect size, extremely clean, comfy, and nice.

A huge window that let in nice cool air during the aftnn and night. Perfect if you're like me and feel a little warm.

Highly recommend

Cons:

Breakfast - by the time I'd got there, there was barely any coffee left :( it would be nice if they had a tap/machine of gold filtered water instead of tap water for paying guests. So you can access a drink at any time.

People slammed doors late at night, extremely loudly. Please ask people not to do that upon arrival, also why would you do that anyway????

The headboard was the only downside of the room, it didn't at all affect my stay. It was the only thing that looked tired.

Comfy, convenient, value for money
Cons:

Value for money budget hotel. Ex-student hall of residence. Ideal for visiting Uni of Sheffield. Small double bed, very comfy. Ensuite shower room pristine. Communal kitchens on each floor (sometimes no cutlery etc, better for simple/pre-prepared meals. Nice and quiet. Free parking. Won't be everyone's cuppa, but more private and comfy than a hostel. Lots of lounge space on ground floor, along from reception, which I didn't see on my first trip. Complimentary cuppa and croissant for breakfast, or nip next door to the Halifax Hotel and pay for something more substantial. Good restaurants, shops and pubs, a short walk away in Broomhill. I love it. Perfect for a cheap short stay.

Not the hotel you hope it is. It's fine for solo convenience - but not for families.
Pros:

The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond.

Cons:

That this is marketed a "Hotel" is misleading. It's a student layover. The pictures used are of communal areas, and the room you get is a bed, a toilet and a desk. Essentially a cell 🤣.

Pros:

The breakfast, the staff and the location is amazing.

Cons:

I was in room 1.21 and the head rest faux leather flaked on the sheets which was very unpleasant. We also had the fire alarm go off at 645am then again at approximately 730am the same morning. No reason for this happening was given.

Pros:

Good price and location.

Cons:

There was a continuous, annoying low frequency squeezing noise, not very loud but annoying.
