The property was very nice, the pool
area is tremendous, and Leonor at the front desk was exceptional.

The front desk stage was very polite and atrentive to all the needs. The butler was excellent. The waiter outstanding especially the guy at the restaurant called El Barón he was outstanding in his service

Property was clean. Comfortable and the staff was very helpful and attentive. It was a great experience and I would recommend.

The hotel was not in a good area. The hotel felt safe, and the the beach also felt safe, but I didn't like that you had to walk along the street from the hotel to get to the restaurant, the pool and the beach, there is no direct access from inside the hotel to the beach or pool itself. The food at the restaurant was very good, we enjoyed it, and the area around the pool and beachside area was well maintained and comfortable. There was no gym, despite being told on the first day that it was just closed until 8am, on the second day I was finally told that there was no gym and that I would have to walk to a nearby gym, which was not safe to do so. The staff in general were helpful, and the rooms were large and comfortable and very clean. The view from the balcony was lovely. The AC in the room was perfect!

Staff is great. Beautiful place . Property needs more maintenance and attention to detail.

The check-in with Leonor was great, she was very nice and friendly with me and my children, made sure we had waters and towels , always smiling and polite

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, the food from the restaurant was awesome. The problem I have is the pictures advertised is not what we met when we arrived. The room was not clean like they were not ready for us. Hair was found in the washroom and the room and balcony was dusty. The pool/beach was safe, I just hate the fact that we had to go outside of the hotel to access the pool and beach. The front of the hotel seems ghetto and scary, and we actually witnessed the police chasing an individual through the building opposite the hotel. The corner had lots of unpleasant characters, we didn't leave the hotel without an Uber picking us up, even if it was to the corner, and I live in Guyana lol. I was a bit disappointed, but the staff's hospitality made it easier to stay in the hotel.

The room I booked over two month ago was not longer available. I asked to speak to manager, not on ground. I requested a refund for diff. I haven’t heard back. Hotel

A good and safe place to repeat a pleasant stay with family or along .

Misleading listing. Not what’s advertised. The room did not match the pictures. These are not true suites but rather small apartments. The reception area is different from what’s shown online, and there is only one restaurant (no bar or coffee bar as advertised).

The hotel is NOT directly connected to the pool area. It appears that a common access area that connected the reception to the beach/pool was removed to make more rooms. To reach the beach or pool, you have to exit the building and go around the hotel.

There was construction all throughout the hotel. The elevator was squeaking a lot and it marked the wrong floors. Pool was murky. The towels are literally counted, we asked for more and they said we had to switch the dirty one for a clean one.

On weekends the place is packed of people who are not staying at the hotel. We got a “deluxe suite” but the only thing they took into account was the sea view. The kitchen was actually just a 2-stove burner that you use for camping and a microwave. No pans or pots.

The checkout time said 12:00pm in Expedia and they knocked our door at 11:20am to kick us out. I showed them the check-out time on Expedia and the lady on reception said “Oh, we need to change that.” There are many vendors trying to sell you things at the beach. If you are a woman, you will get catcalled a lot.

The only positive note is that staff was always nice and the food was good, as usual with dominican food.

We had a wonderful time at Boca Beach Residence. The staff was delightful, courteous, and helpful. We will definitely consider another visit.

First trip To DR and was worth it , being bilingual helped out I still needed assistance. If there is no language barrier. English only speaking may have difficulties . The stay was great see you soon again. Loved it…From estados unidos loved it!

Convenient location. Mattress was far too soft, was difficult to get any type of support from it.
