No air conditioning or even a fan in the room during a heatwave made it very uncomfortable.
Everything
We didn't stay long enough.
Breakfast was excellent, a choice for everyone’s taste.
I had no faults at all during my stay.
Receptionist very friendly. Food in restaurant in the evening was delicious even if small portions.
Hallways outside room looked like a building site and were in no way aesthetically pleasing. The shower flow attacked in waves with water pressuring dipping constantly. The breakfast was diabolically organised. A party of 4 stood in front of us with clearly no table ready for them but multiple free tables for 2. Instead of explaining this and asking the 4 to wait aside whilst a table gets organised so the 2s can be set we all had to stand in a line that nearly reached reception area. The music in the room as we got seated was Madness house of fun which genuinely was poetic as the place was madness. The girl who asked tea or coffee was running across the room as she asked. The tea when it appeared was slammed on the table like the person had a grudge against teapot and didn't utter a word or a pleasantry. Genuinely it was a shocking display with other acts witnessed one lady in particular asked multiple members of staff for milk the first of which said sure went away and came back and proceeded to do something else blanking the elderly lady. I know it's a busy time and everyone is probably tired but when in hospitality all guests should at least be greeted with a welcoming approach and treated as if it is their first ever time staying at a hotel. The hotel has so much potential but I just felt it was lacking in the human side of things. Even as far as twice I held a door for members of staff who didn't even say thanks. Manners cost absolutely nothing but are worth so much.
Staff and food were lovely
Swimming pool could do with a revamp
Location
Room wasnt clean
No air conditioning in the bedroom. The nighttime temperature was 30 degrees Celsius which made for very unpleasant sleeping conditions especially with a young child.
The location was good
Didn't find the staff to be welcoming,
specifically the host at breakfast service
No lake view was put in a room at end of corridor at back of hotel other side from lakeside
Position and comfort lots of sofas and great views. Good food and friendly staff
All good
