Hiding Space - Westgate Apartments is located on Westgate Building between the front of Tesco Express and Stables Restaurant.

Please note that group bookings of 7 people or more are not permitted at this property. If any exception will apply, a security deposit will be required for each apartment, otherwise the booking will be canceled. The pre-authorization of this deposit will be taken three days before arrival.

Please note there is no elevator and access to the apartments are by stairs only.In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

Suited our needs, good communication via email and messages. A great alternative to booking a hotel.
Pros:

Clean, great location, easy access, although the comms are not consistent - for example the signs suggested that the doors automatically unlocked following registration, but actually we needed to us the key lock. This was well communicated in the email, but didn’t align with the onsite directions.

Cons:

We didn’t need to use the kitchen apart from drinks, however we noticed that the glasses and crockery was not consistent for 4 people, which the apartment could cater for.
The apartment was very warm, and whilst decent fans were provided it was quite uncomfortable. We appreciate that the building doesn’t have air conditioning and the weather is not necessarily the norm, but this did affect our stay

The location was amazing - right in the heart of Bath. Too bad about the heat.
Pros:

The room was really clean and roomy. Enough space for 3 people even with a sofa bed pulled out. The kitchen area was good and the beds were comfortable. Decorated nicely.

Cons:

The instructions to get into the room were not correct. We received an email telling us to check in via their laptop at the entrance and then we had 10 minutes to get into the room. The room was locked and we had to call to find out that the keys were actually at the bottom of the stairs in a lockbock with a combination that wasn't given to us until I called. We were on the 3rd floor which wasn't fun dragging the luggage up with no elevator. It was also around 80 degrees outside but inside was probably more like 95 to 100. Probably because we were on the 3rd floor and the windows don't provide much ventilation. They did provide some floor fans which helped.

The staff could not have made things easier or more accommodating. I would come back again.
Pros:

Centrally located. I could get everywhere on foot.

Cons:

Not the fault of the property- I was there during an extreme heatwave and the windows don’t open wide enough to cool the room down. There were two large fans but they proved ineffective.

Okay property. Rooms are not really separate, there is just a bookcase on the middle.
Pros:

Centrally located and clean.

Cons:

There is no separation between the two bedrooms. Too hot /? Lacks proper ventilation.

Too hot
Pros:

The flat is lovely but is absolutely not organised to welcome guests in hot weather.

Cons:

The windows could not fully open, the fans were incredibly loud and the temperature inside was much higher than the one outside, 34 degrees.

Newly renovated units in a convenient location with parking a few blocks away.
Pros:

The apartments are brand new and renovated which was lovely. The location is conventient to restaurants and walking around the city centre.

Cons:

Proximity to parking. We had large suitcases that we had to wander through the cobblestone streets with at the end of a long day. No elevator to get up to the 3rd floor. Apartments were very warm due to the windows only opening a small bit and no blackout curtains on the very large windows.

Pros:

Spacious and modern studio in central Bath

Cons:

No warm water in the shower. According to the staff this is by design, which seems unusual. So if you want to take a warm shower better choose another place.

Stunning place in a great area
Pros:

Everything was spot on! Location, apartment was stunning, very clean, comfy, really felt like home! Tesco just next door, nice pubs also and a great Thai restaurant. Honestly this place is the right place to stay to explore Bath. Staff is also very helpful, friendly and polite.
I had an issue with the fridge during my stay (...) but it has been sorted out very quickly and nicely. Really appreciate that
