Clean large rooms.
Beware, although it says breakfast is included, that’s is only a continental breakfast. If you want someone cooked, even eggs in toast, that’s an extra £13ish per person.
Good room. Great location. Friendy staff.
Strange to not have certain facilities in room. Fork but no knife. No fridge even though there is a kitchen.
Property was clean
Booked a double room and was put into a single of which when checking on the website our rooms images where in the single section. We arrived a bit late so no staff was around to sort anything out, even tho it was apparently a doubt room it was not set up for it. With only having one towel/ glass ext.. so even after a very long day we couldn’t have a proper shower and clean. in the end we checked out on the Saturday morning instead of staying the extra night and had to go and pay out again to stay in a travel lodge. Of which even if it was advertised correctly as a double room we would not have picked to stay at this establishment.
Lovely large room fan already on when we arrived so room stayed cool - staff friendly and good value - great location in the centre of town
The location to town is great
Very hot rooms with no ac. No hot water in shower
No breakfast buffet, you need to order and anything outside continental needs to be paid for, rooms are small, poorly cleaned, warm and windows can not be opened due to pigeons. In four days the room was once cleaned, but towels not renewed. You feel the hotel hardly survives and anything that is a cost needs to be kept to a minimum.
The room was comfortable
The tea and coffee facilities were perfect
We did not visit the bar as we were in Haverhill to visit family but it looked welcoming
We will return
There is nothing that we didnt like
Location is good proximity to the town
Given a cosy double instead of a double. 4ft bed for 2 people attached to a wall so very uncomfortable. Restaurant closed at 8.30 and when we went for breakfast we were informed it was a continental breakfast which we were not aware of. £12.95pp to upgrade to a cooked breakfast. it's a joke. A building site next door so scaffolding was being erected at 8am so couldn't sleep.
Could be so much better because the rooms are nice but make sure you get the correct allocation.
I liked where it was located. I was able to walk to the gym and many different shops around that one would need for a short weekend
It wasn’t very clean. Stairs had stains, a strong smell of food in the hallways, Walls are thin so could hear everything . The floor wasn’t hoovered when I arrived to my room
Comfy beds
No actual staff on site so we had a small problem but had to send messages to get some help , manager came straight down to sort problem and upgraded our room . Seems the bar n reception isnt open on sundays . Ideal location and new room very spacious and welcoming
Great staff, very warm and welcoming. Good location
Had to walk down the side of the building to enter the hotel from the back of the hotel after hours. The alleyway next to the hotel was pitch black and quite dangerous.
Bath tube, breakfast was fresh and tasty
Pillows too tick, there was no other available
Goede locatie en net hotel met uitstekende ontbijt en dinner. De kamers zijn ruim en schoon. Goed bed.
Location warm clean perfect
Street parking not great
Location to town
No view and couldn’t open window due to pigeons nesting outside and told they come into room if window open
