Chisholm Inn & Suites

Super clean, quiet. They need a sign for the driveway. Cannot see the front of the building until you miss the driveway and look back.

Not a well kept place. Bathroom was dirty and not cleaned

Staff was very nice, room very comfortable and quiet. Location was just as we needed.

I used Expedia and I called 5 days prior to verify the room and the hotel still didn’t have the correct room. They did not have any record of me calling. The room was dirty. I used my own wipes to clean the sink (toothpaste residue), the fixtures, and the bathtub. There were crumbs on the furniture and some sort of crud on the wall. There was dog hair on the futon. I didn’t say anything because I was in town for a family function and the person that arranged it was stressed. The bathroom in the hallway was also dirty and not cleaned the entire time we were there. Too bad because the staff was friendly.

Wet Urine and hair on the toilet, sunflower seeds half eaten on the floor, a medication pill on the floor, filthy fridge, unclean sheets, not changed. Didn’t smell fresh at all!
Also when we arrived there she gave us the key to room 120, said it’s already opened, just around the corner. Sure enough, door left a jar I even snapped a picture the door was left a jar, so anybody could’ve walked into that room before we got there. We’ve never in the history of traveling have ever seen that before, such filth!!!
Don’t even believe the woman behind the desk was telling us the truth when she said there was a maintenance man that will come fix our loose toilet seat that was almost completely off. When we first got there she said she was fixing a toilet that was plugged in overflowing, that’s why it took her 10 minutes to come to the desk to even service us as we walked in the door to check in. We rang the bell twice.
This is totally unacceptable on every level!

Oh and one more thing, the hot tub/bathtub in the bedroom area was also filthy!

Room was clean enough. Shower curtain was just the cloth part which was old and ripped. Staff was nice. Gave me extra pillows and blankets. Cute lobby area. Place was quiet.

Great location for the Mesabi Trail.

Rooms are clean nice lobby and a good breakfast

The carpet in the room was filthy. The toilet ran unless you shook the handle. The bathroom fan sounded like a jack hammer and the tub surface was worn out.

Had to change room 3 timed due to staff error at check in. Very dated, carpet had holes in common areas. Carpet in rooms had visible stains.

Staff is great, breakfast was good. I've stayed here twice for work, both times on a monday. Both nights it was packed. If it's this busy all the time it seems like there should be money for much needed repairs and updates. The longer you put it off the worse it will be when you do it. When I was researching stays, everything in nearby Hibbing and Chisolm were charging upwards of $200 a night. This place was $120. Maybe if they updated the place they could adjust the rates accordingly.

Stay was great only issue was sink and tub drained very slowly.

This place was adequate for a one night stay. Room was relatively clean, front desk persone

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of variety of pillows. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was great.

Very nice place

The cable service was down. No big deal was supposed to receive a discount on the bill didn't show up on bill but was corrected at checkout when I pointed it out. Hot water took a long time to get shower in the room wasted a lot of water

Staff was friendly. Hotel was a bit run down and there is no elevator to access the second floor.

No pool or hot tub. Breakfast was pretty good. Pillows were not that comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was not clean

A little rough around the edges. Needs basic repairs and upkeep that if continued to be neglected can spiral out of control in a hurry.
