Totally not trusting Booking
Pros:

Booking.com really screwed me on this! There was no room available, I got a call from the hotel after I booked the room! Then to top it off Booking refused to return my payment! Told me that Booking would help me find a room elsewhere, didn't! Why should I trust them again ever!

Cons:

Then told me I could only gat credit for future use! I'm pretty sure they would again charge my card for the full price of the room! What a rip off!

A Four Star Find at a Great Price!
Pros:

We visited Findlay, Ohio, to see friends and, on the way, checked Booking.com for a place to stay. Always looking for the highest-rated hotels, we found The Hancock Hotel, which was conveniently located near our friends. It had a 9+ rating and was very reasonably priced, so we booked it.

What a wonderful place! It is truly a four-star hotel, with all the amenities and services one would expect. The property was spotless from top to bottom, the sheets and pillows were luxurious, everything was perfectly maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional.

Overall, it was a great experience and well deserving of its outstanding Booking.com rating.

Cons:

I would suggest updating the parking information on the website. It says valet is available, but does not state it is mandatory. And there should be information in the room or posted somewhere to indicate where ice and other ammenities might be located. Not a complaint, just suggesting!

Lovely hotel right downtown.
Pros:

Everything. The staff were all wonderful & accommodating. The room was large. The bed was very comfy. There were delicious chocolate covered pretzels waiting. It was lovely!

Cons:

Valet parking only. This is an inconvenience. It’s the only reason that I’d question staying there again.

Great, exc. pd parking, outside trash cans, no minimal breakfast items & underwhelming bedding.
Pros:

Room was spacious. Overall Hotel was clean. Elevators were great. Always right there (Managed Otis Elevator and Schindler for 8-9 years), and I've not noticed this ever. Lobby/Lounge was great.

Cons:

A place at this cost level and the prestige you want, should not charge for parking, and then even more the larger vehicles; nor should it be hidden into the cost of a stay. I have never had to pay for parking while at a hotel, anywhere in almost 60 years. You should have trash can(s) available outside of entries, so if you had a service dog, they had a place to put what they picked up and bagged. Currently you only have a small trash can at desk and in the area of the valet area. Maybe have donuts, bagels, muffins or some sort of quick breakfast food to have with your coffee area. Not everyone is a breakfast person, and wants to not only sit-down for breakfast, but pay higher costs, when most other hotels offer some sort of free breakfast. Bedding was thin and very underwhelming for what else to try to present.

Had a great stay.

Cons:

Mandatory valet at $19/night in Findlay Ohio is odd and unnecessary. Dated alarm clock with no modern phone charger and no additional outlets by bed to charge. Not a deal breaker but something I noticed; shabby finish work around the room (construction), mostly in the bathroom.
