Excellent hotel and excellent staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This place saved us after staying in a louder place down the road. The total oasis of calm that was sleeping Angkor was just what we needed. Still walking distance from the liveliness of beer street and the markets so you can dip in and out at your leisure. I understand this place is changing management and excited by the improvement s this would bring... I would happily stay here again.
Absolutely brilliant! We loved the tranquility of this hotel and its quirkiness. Beutiful swimming and surroundings, and we had a massive room to relax in.
Stayed 3 nights and found this hotel amazing, so clean, peaceful, great little pool which had the sun, lovely breakfast and the staff was amazing, really helped make our stay even better, they even provided a tuk tuk for our temple visit, thank you for a great service
The overall condition is quite good. The room feels like brand new. We stay during Sep which is still raining season, thus the road outside the hotel is not a pleasant experience with water everywhere. But it's not the fault on the hotel.
The swimming pool is clean and small. At night the place is quiet, with 5~10 mins walking distance to the night market and the pub street. Staffs are friendly.
This is a very nice little place. Awesome rooms, clean and well kept. Good decor too...Location is alright, very close to the night market, but being Cambodia, the street was unpaved and muddy when we were there. Definitely stay again!
Really lovely stay! The staff are so welcoming and helpful, including the tuk tuk driver who picked us up from the airport in awful rain! The same driver also took us round Angkor Wat, arranged by the hotel, and it was perfect. Huge room and balcony, comfy bed and great shower and bath. Swimming pool is great too. Less than 10 min walk to Pub Street and the night markets but feels so calm inside the hotel. Great breakfast too! 10 out of 10!
Small hotel just 10 mins walk from pub street etc. Excellent price for a triple room. All the staff are loverly. Used the hotels tuk tuk driver for a day trip around Angkor etc ($16) which was great. Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment.
Room was clean but did have a couple of cockroaches and the WiFi was intermittent( fine by the pool though)
Pool was quite small but very clean and warm.
Would happily stay again.
Close to the night market and pub street, but quiet enough to come back and relax after exploring. Tours all knew where to find the hotel. Great AC. Nice to have a private balcony. Definitely recommend.
We requested 2 extra room upon check in and, got them right away. Specious room, clean, friendly staff and close to everything we needed. We really enjoyed the quiet pool and will definitely be back.
The property was smart, very clean and in a great location. I don’t think that it could have been bettered. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - a real credit to the management.
Thanks for a great stay
The cleanliness, nice bathroom, very beautiful pool. The big rooms were a bonus.
This is amazing value for money!! Huge rooms with balconies, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
We loved breakfast by the pool each morning and the fresh baked french bread was fabulous. The location was also perfect, just a few minutes walk from Pub Street but away from the noise.
The owner, Nadège, was also very friendly and accommodating.
We would definitely stay again.
Great stay and the hotel staff can book excellent tuk-tuk drivers at very reasonable prices to show guests around Angkor Wat.
The Sleeping Angkor exceeded all expectations and became my home away from home during my 6-nights' stay. The room is very big, spotless and of a beautiful modern design. I enjoyed my little private terrace as much as hanging out by the pool.
Staff is nice and very helpful and the location is superb (quiet, away from the crowds, but just a short walk to Pub Street etc)!
Breakfast that is included gets a bit boring after a while, but there are other options at a surcharge.
All in all this is the BEST PLACE I stayed at during my entire trip in Cambodia and I would love to come back as soon as possible.
Simply wonderful!
The best hotel we’ve stayed in in Cambodia
Run by a lovey French lady who has all the boxes ticked.
Spotlessly clean - tastefully decorated, super comfortable and worth every cent. Building seems quite new & it’s situated in a great location. Room serviced daily. Breakfast was good. Although they don’t do lunch or dinner
The only thing missing in the room was hairdryers. Definitely book - you won’t be disappointed
The hotel is modern and decorated really nicely. Our room was lovely and spacious and the pool area nice. The breakfast was good however be aware that when the staff ask if you’d like more coffee you’ll actually be charged (albeit not much) when you check out.
Only criticism would be that there was a huge problem with mosquitos around the hotel especially in the bar area. I’d suggest that something is done to reduce the number. And also there seemed to be some kind of shortage of toilet paper! Where the maid would only leave a half roll which was strange.
4 of us stayed for 5 nights over New Year and we loved this place. The rooms are huge and feel quite luxurious, and we especially enjoyed the pool area which caught the sun from mid morning right through the whole afternoon. The area was perfect too, a few streets over from the night market and a short stroll to pub street yet very quiet in the evenings. Some great cafes close by for breakfast too.
Excellent
The lovely couple that own this hotel are good fun and very helpful. From the friendly reception,to the large and impeccably finished rooms (all with private balcony or garden). Or the truly relaxing pool area, or the beautiful and cozy bar. The Sleeping Angkor is an amazing place. All located in the downtown area a short walk (5 minutes) from all of the night life. Very much recommended.
