GROUP POLICY: Any reservation of 10 people or more per night will be considered a group with different terms and conditions. Groups reservations can only be made through our reservations team, and Generator reserves the right to cancel it otherwise.

PET POLICY: We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: Individuals under the age of 18 can only stay at the Hostel when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in the same room.

Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancelation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the HostelGuests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Nothing not to like
Location was very good and accessible to attractions and Metro Station, Room much smaller than expected, however it's Ok for one person not More.
There was no water in the bathroom for the last night while the receptionist informed me that they are doing maintenance and I struggled to take shower after long day, even there was no any other arrangement from the hotel management nor any notification so the guest at least can store some water.

My mattress was soggy and lumpy and needs to be replaced room 26! There is also the smell of stale smoke in the linens :(
Location was excellent, room was clean, lots of cool spots to hang out within the hotel. Appreciated both an early check in and late check out. Water bottles and refill station also appreciated!
The building is very dark. The ac is loud, putting it on fan helped a lot.

El hotel cuenta con una muy buena ubicación, cerca del Flatiron Building y está rodeado de buenos restaurantes. Además, tiene un bar bastante entretenido y una estación de metro a pocos minutos caminando.
La pieza era algo pequeña con poca iluminación y el baño tenía un problema con la luz. Además, el internet no funcionaba muy bien en la pieza.

Small room, slightly aging amenities but really not bad
I had an excellent stay at this hotel. My premium room was comfortable and very practical—there was easily enough space to leave my suitcase open without it getting in the way! The air conditioning worked perfectly, so there was no need to run the additional window unit. The Wi-Fi was strong, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was in pristine, recently renovated condition with powerful shower pressure. Overall, the room had a very restful & cosy atmosphere.
The ambient lighting creates a cozy atmosphere—which personally suited me after a busy day in Manhattan—but a dedicated reading light by the bed would have been a great addition. Regarding breakfast, you are better off eating out at a local spot that serves homemade pastries! Lastly, the security deposit required upon arrival was actually charged to my credit card rather than just held. Even though it is refunded after check-out, having those funds temporarily debited is an unwelcome practice on an already costly trip.
