Great Location in The Berkshires
Pros:

The location was great. Easy access to Stockbridge, Lenox, Lee, Great Barrington, grocery stores, the Mass Pike. The staff were very responsive. The kitchen was pretty well equipped.

Cons:

The carpet should be replaced. It would have been very helpful to have enough coffee filters for my 12 night stay.

Now that we know what the facility is all about, we would return if headed back to the Berkshires.
Pros:

It was overall fine.

Cons:

A few times we had to park quite far from our room.
We were never made aware that there were no elevators. We were assigned a third floor room which did not work for us. Fortunately, the staff found 1(only 1) first floor room for us. The room was fine, but one of the 2 showers did not work.

Amenities and friendly staff

Cons:

Put us on 3rd floor with 2 elderly parents. Very difficult going up and down stairs. Also have a step on pool deck that blends, observed many people over weekend miss the step, trip. Unfortunately my 76 year old mother missed that step, fell, damaged her knee, hand, elbow and back. Pool staff (bartender at pool) witnessed yet security was never called. We and other patrons helped my mother up and tended to her injuries. Several other patrons who witnessed fall also reported it yet no one from hotel management or security ever reached out to us. This happened our first day there - my poor mom was stuck in room unable to walk for remainder of our 4 day stay.

It was clean and new. Almost everything worked well from checking in to checking out.

Cons:

We were missing a sheet for the sofa bed, and the upstairs sofa drained very slowly. Also, the stairs were pretty narrow. Difficult for those who might have an injury or are older.

Lack of end tables in bedrooms, not enough dressers for clothes, not enough walking trails in the woods or on the property , too many hills and staircases

Close to many local attractions; clean; quiet. Lots of amenities but we weren’t there long enough to partake in any of them

Cons:

The early, I guess, automated messaging I got listed bunch of NOs and other rules which was very off-putting. There are certainly better ways to welcome guests than sending them a list of all the things they can’t do.

It was requested that we run the dishwasher when we checked out but there was no detergent (or dishwashing soap either).
