Get the AC room!!
Pros:

Staff/owners are lovely and so helpful. Parked our tuktuk at the bottom of the short path (2mins to the hotel from tuktuk) Wifi great. We upgraded during our stay as we was originally in a double room with no AC. It was far too small and hot. So we then paid to move upstairs. The room had AC and was bigger for our cases. Area is fine. Food and beach nerby.

Ok stay at mirissa
Pros:

Narrow street, our van just fills the width of the street, to carry luggage long way to the stay. no staff to help. no driver stay provision, no van parking provision.

Lovely little hotel
Pros:

Excellent stay. Friendly, helpful staff. WiFi and air con worked well. Quiet location off the main road. Beautiful beaches and lots of good restaurant/bar options. I’ll be back soon!

Excellent choice close to the beach
Pros:

This property is only a minute walk inside the green jungle off the main road. The host is very helpful and nice. Rooms are freshly painted and clean, Our room had balcony, and shower was spacious. Mosquito nets were there for your comfort during the night.

Lovely Stay.
Pros:

Had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. The lady who runs it is lovely and very helpful and friendly.
I took the option for breakfast and there is a selection to choose from, i was always full after.
The room was a good size and very clean with little touches that make the stay nicer, toiletries, nice towels, air fresher, a little flower and mosquito repellant.
Would recommend and would stay again.
The hotel was a perfect location for me, set back off the main road and walking distance to the main attractions.

Pros:

Séjour très agréable, situé à 200 m de turtle bay et coconut hill ,400m de Mirissa beach et parrot rock… cet hôtel est très bien placé , au calmes absolu dans une petite ruelle qui donne sur la route principale.
Le personnel est très accueillant, toujours le sourire!
Divers services sont proposés, dont le lavage du linge , et même les repas. Une cuisine et un frigidaire sont mis à disposition. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, de l’eau chaude ce qui est très agréable.
Je recommande vivement ce petit hôtel .

Pros:

A truly wonderful place. Dillon, the owner, was on permanent call, not that we needed him much as everything was in perfect working order. He advised and arranged our whale watching tour, which is a must. A great boat and very friendly and safe service.

Pros:

The property was very quiet, clean and pleasant. The stay was made even more pleasant because of the two hosts, Hiroo and Dilan; the lovely husband/wife duo who run the place. They answered all my queries and made sumptuous food cooked by Dilans mother. The place was about 10 to 12 minutes walk away from Mitissa beach and was perfect Location as I had no wish to stay in the middle of the market. The nights were quiet and absolutely no mosquitoes. All in all for the price the rooms were bright, super clean, cosy and well done and I had a splendid time. Would go back at the drop of a hat. 👍👍

Pros:

ホテルのオーナーがすぐそばにすんでいて安心。
網戸でないので虫が入ってきそうで嫌だった。
タオルが清潔。シャワールームも綺麗。
細い道だが案内板があるのでわかりやすい。
アクセスや食事の場所等色々教えてくれる

Disappointed family room
Pros:

Need to improve the space. Toilet was broken. It was moving whenever I sit on.
The family room was very warm as like a sauna whole day except morning. I am not AC lover but I had to switch on AC all the time. After first night my baby and I got sick from AC room. Cough and vomiting during night bcz of AC dust.
I tried to open window at midnight but hot air were coming to the room.
I guess the family room is top level and then heated from sun directly. If I could have stayed ground level, it could be different.
However, I paid 4 nights but I stayed only 1 night. No refunded at all as the hotels.com rules.
I am sorry to say that the family room is not suitable to baby.

Great hospitality, basic accommodation.
Pros:

We stayed at the Village Star Rest for three nights. The owner was very friendly and really keen to help us. She made a hand prepared breakfast for us which was excellent. The price we paid was very cheap as well, just to put the comments re the accommodation into context. The accommodation itself is very basic we had no AC, which meant it was rather warm at night. We had a couple of the local crawlers in the room which the owner very quickly got rid of. The location is a 10 minute walk from the beech which suited us to be a little away from the main area. Overall fantastic hospitality in low priced and basic accommodation.
