Our stay at Tehri Retreat by Himalayan Eco Lodges was nothing short of magical. If you’re craving serenity, waking up to the perfect sunrise over the mountains, surrounded by the soothing sounds of chirping birds, and enveloped in lush greenery—this is the place to be. The cottages offer a peaceful retreat, with exceptional staff who made us feel right at home. We were amazed by the location, not just for its beauty but also for the great mobile internet connectivity, which kept us connected while still feeling away from it all.

Being just 45 minutes from Tehri Lake for thrilling water sports and the same distance from Kanatal for adventurous jeep safaris, this retreat is the perfect balance of relaxation and excitement. Our 4-day trip was so unforgettable that leaving felt bittersweet. We can't wait to return and relive this experience all over again. This place truly has our hearts, and we will definitely be booking here again.

Pros:

Horrible experience as following :-
#1. the Contact person detail shared mentioned In the confirmation email not picking up the calls at all. When I asked (details is mentioned in # 2 where person picked the call when their own staff called then his statement was even much more horrible).
#2. some how we reached there after driving 25 KM extra, i part my car in dark place with little worry as my kids were there in the car hence have locked car and then moved to the reception.
#3. No one was there on reception, walked around for some times some of the guest was sitting there, decided to why not ask them if anyone is there who can help us to get it. while roamed here/there one of the guy came thankfully, i was most happiest person as finally i found someone else it was hard to be take U-turn and find something else.

#3. Another surprise waiting here, guy simply told me that they do not have any booking with them and recommended to next time do with other travel partners i.e mkt and others.

#4. they missed kept necessary ones.

at last would like to understand when and how hotels.com(Expedia, Inc.) started to tie up with the partners as per them Expedia, Inc. is not actually the partners.


first and last time hope you will fix this have already paid for everything however they do not have buffet... anothor surprise.

since had that much association worst to have Expedia, Inc. is actually showing under their profile.

Pros:

It was such a horrible experience from the very beginning. At first, it took so long to share the confirmation msg. Also, no email was sent in this regard. Later, the staff was so non cooperative. We wanted to cancel our booking due to some unavoidable reasons but the hotel n this site left us in lurch. Both kept saying that the other party is the responsible one. I have tried other apps too who provide such facilities n are way to better when it comes to customer satisfaction as priority. Will never ever recommend anyone to use this site for booking.

Pros:

Enjoy your vacation with a view. The resort offers a very nice mountain and lake view. Even the sunrise can be easily experienced from the rooms. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The resort has a good open space where you can walk around. The greenery here is splendid. Offers decent food but do not expect over the top services. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to people who wish to spend a few days away from city hustle.
