Very nice staff and delicious breakfast. Convenient location in the city center and very close to old town.
It is great!
There are desks on the floors with computers, however it is not possible to use just a screen with my own laptop. It would be much better if I could connect it.
Comfy clean room in the heart of the city. As we stayed for a special occasion we really appreciated the surprise left in our room which was also toddler friendly
For those who have stayed before it’s worth to note that breakfast has been downgraded and you cannot order eggs to your liking. Kitchen technically offered an omelet but Eggs Benedict as example were not available.
Spa was nice but water temperature was on the colder side for both pool and jacuzzi. Also no speicial amenities for a toddler as well as no robe etc.
Most was nice. Breakfast, room, bed, bathroom, staff etc.
The spa allows people from outside pay to enter which is fine. But during my visit, the ”relaxing” spa was full of something like a school class of 10 children under age of ten playing and screaming. No one else could stay.
Except that, great hotel.
The first great thing we noticed about the hotel, was the friendliness of the staff, both at reception and at the adjacent restaurant where we had lunch. They made us feel very welcome, which we appreciated. The room was very clean and well kept. The bathroom was quite big, and amenities were replenished well including regularly getting towels changed. The hotel is also located in a great area of Riga, where the Old Town is only about 10 minutes away by foot.
We didn't like the fact that the bed had two small duvets, rather than one big one. It makes you feel like you are sleeping on two separate beds, and they're also on the smaller size if you are 185cm or above. While the saunas and the main pool in the SPA area were quite good, the jacuzzi was much smaller than anticipated. It could only hold about four people comfortably, which became an issue when there were many people attending the SPA area. Also the hotel has no parking by itself, however they directed us to a parking about 4 minutes away which was very fairly priced.

Не совсем понятная/исправная работа отопления в номере (батарею трогать нельзя, а функция обогрева через сенсорную панель всё время слетала, в итоге нагревала комнату через горячие полы в ванной). Не понравилось, что на завтраке в первой комнате персонал приоткрывал дверь на проветривание (это было не очень правильно, когда ты уже расположился, а тут неожиданно приоткрывают дверь, которая выходит на улицу и нужно либо переходить в другую комнату, либо терпеть сквозняк).

La décoration est lourde et temoigne d une esthetique un peu datée. Conjuguée à la raideur du personnel, on a un peu l impression d etre dans un palace fin de siècle ( le restaurant s appelle snob), ce qui n est pas forcément du gout de tout le monde. Pour les propriétaires d animaux, c est un peu le service minimum
