I returned to this hotel in February for my birthday, after spending a wonderful Christmas stay last December. It was easy to make the decision cause this hotel is fabulous. Amazing breakfast, unlimited spa access, beautiful rooms, great location, and friendly staff. And the value for money is amazing too.
Nothing!
Not the first time we stayed in this hotel for a weekend brake in capital. Aesthetics is the main thing why we chosen this hotel again. Beautifully decorated. Central location.
This time unpleasant surprises was that in communal WC they don’t have sanitary pads!!!! You expect this to be provided in toilets in 5* Hotel. I had to go to reception and wait for woman receptionist to help me with this intimate problem. Thanks god they had emergency bag with pads BUT on the check out be ready that you going to be charged for that!!!!
Great location, design, spa facilities
The bar lacked atmosphere. Some of the hot breakfast could be better .
...nav.
Room interior was nice, comfy bed, room was big enough. All facilities there. I needed iron on evening ,the receptionist bought it upstairs in 3 minutes.
The prices in the bar, a bit too expensive fir coctails or glass of wine. But well, its not that I didn't liked, just saying a bit too pricey for Latvia.
Hotellin yhteydessä oleva Snob-ravintola ylitti odotukseni laadullaan.
Staff were great, and whole experience was class
The spa and breakfast.
This is our second time here. I booked a room overlooking the park the first time and remembered the room being big. This time i booked a non-park view room. This was smaller and faced other rooms (we didn’t draw the curtains as we could clearly see into people’s rooms). The water pressure in the shower was bad and the water was either boiling hot or lukewarm. The bath would have taken ages to fill. We travel to Riga a lot and have stayed in quite a few hotels that have lower stars but have better tech/facilities. We were quite disappointed about not having a smart tv (no netflix/prime)- on some days almost all the channels will have german dubbing, and another day they were french. Also, a five star hotel should be giving us better quality towels. I am fond of the spa though..
