I like the location and cleanliness
The extremely overpowering potpourri smell was horrific! The odor started before even walking into the lobby from outside, as well as being able to smell it in the garage just outside the elevator. The only “safe” space from the potpourri smell was our room. I suffer from migraines so having to eat breakfast in the lobby area was a killer, I couldn’t do it.
No hand soap in the bathroom, I asked for some and the maid said they had none, they would get it in next week. I told her that was gross, what was I suppose to use after using the bathroom, she said the shower gel secured and hanging in the shower. To her credit, a couple of hours later she brought hand soap to us.
The included breakfast was okay, however $3 charge if you want any of the items displayed with breakfast: bagel, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and other items. I feel as though it’s included or it’s not, otherwise it’s just an odd set up.
Barn door for a bathroom door provides no privacy from sound or smell and doesn’t lock.
The hotels location was in an area with walkable restaurants. It was clean and the staff were friendly.
Although we had plenty of hot water from the bathroom sink the shower was ice cold. When I spoke with the manager he wanted to accommodate us by changing us to another room. Unfortunately we had somewhere to be and I couldn't move rooms at that time. I asked for $ off the price of the room. Again very accommodating. It would have been a great experience if not for the cold shower.
