The room was clean. Nice bathroom. Staff were pleasant at reception, but less helpful during breakfast including long wait for coffee even when not busy.

Cons:

Room was small. Lots of street noise over the weekend overnight, including hooning cars. Room looked out over the street and car park on the other side. Dim lighting in the room.

It was a comfortable stay.
Pros:

The design and location. Comfortable bed and nice velvet chairs gave it a lux feel. Early check-in and late check-out due to being an Honours member.

Cons:

It was too expensive for what you were getting (basically a room and no facilities apart from a gym and restaurant downstairs which was nice) that a Hilton would normally have. I asked reception for a comb and they said they would bring it up but forgot about it.

Nightclub next door adds Saturday colour
Pros:

I liked the hotel and the staff are great. The location was also convenient for getting around Sydney. The restaurant downstairs is very handy and does a nice evening cocktail and a solid breakfast. I enjoyed my time but would encourage folks not to stay on a Saturday night as the thumping bass from the nightclub next door isn't congruent with a good night sleep. Can I just say that the door staff at the nightclub next door are also very nice and were happy to chat when I went over ay 12am to find out when they closed (2am or 3am depending on how things are going). Anyway, I was up all Saturday night but probably not having as much fun as the folks in the nightclub. Thinking about it, there is always the argument that if you can't beat them, join them. Any night of the week but Saturday night ... a great place to stay. Nightclub next door - based on the door staff and the thumping base - recommended.

Superb location for access to Darling Harbour, The ferry, other transport, opera and theatre.
Pros:

Superb location for people wanting to make the most of Darling Harbour, the Opera House and Theatre District. The room was very stylish, from the carpet to coffee maker.

Cons:

Had a glitch with the Wifi but the helpful staff at reception rectified it quickly.
