There was a problem with other guests and their children which was resolved the following day and throughout my stay. Thank you! 😊
The pool was quite murky. I had my bathing suit ready but did not use it. Maybe next time?
Location was of the hotel was perfect
Our was room never clean doing our stay.
The lobby looked nice and location was good
Wasn't able to stay due to system being down. No plan in place for situation like this. Waited several hours before being told we were unable to stay
Room was nice and clean
Had to pay an additional 50 dollar deposit that they said I would get back in about two weeks because it depends on my bank although they took it out on the spot. Also had to pay 5 more dollars for parking
Boring same thing everyday, hilton at sunchase was far better
Yogurt and fruit, which was not provided on a daily basics. 2% milk would be nice in a carton,l like sunchase.
Nice colors
It’s too modern
Diamond members steer clear of the Tru in Farmville. False charge on my CC could only be resolved by calling the diamond desk..
Great Front desk Customer Service and outstanding breakfast.
All good
I liked the convenience of the location to where we needed to be and places to eat
. The breakfast was also well laid out and the morning staff were super friendly
I was not impressed with the young lady that checked us in. She didnt greet initially I had to say something first and just gave us the keys did not say the room number or what direction the elevator was or even have a good evening. Just did not set a good impression.
Basically the location.
The pools PH level was off supposedly when arrived when they seen a softball team walking. Our bathroom wall and door has black pubs ALL OVER IT! The shower has 1 little stream of water that would come out of it even after turning it on all settings. STAFF WAS EXTREMELY RUDE!
Staff was great.
Being charged for parking separate from the original bill. Thats incredibly stupid. Where are the residents supposed to park....Starbucks? Just add it in the bill.
Breakfast was great. The gentleman tending the station was friendly and helpful. Room was fairly quiet, beds comfortable, nice choice of pillows on the beds. Good temperature control.
Was not told in advance of the $50 additional charge for the room. Was not prepared for lack of amenities in room such as towel bars, only one chair. Did not realize that target segment of the population was much younger (I am 85). So not quite what I expected, but I suppose it was all appropriate for that age group. Young people were enjoying common amenities in the lobby and were well behaved. Lighting in room was stark.
Clean better
I WON’T BE BACK! Yes, the hotel is nice & new. Large entrance & plenty of room to hang with family & friends. Problem: $20 to park my oversized vehicle on their large parking lot. It’s not the $20 that bothers me. It’s the principle of the matter. I travel the country for a living & SELDOM have to pay to park. And when I do … it’s usually because I’m in the heart of some big city with little to no parking. Farmville is a nice country town in rural Virginia. It was the last thing I expected.
I also received a text once I checked in asking what the hotel could do to make my stay AMAZING. I responded, “DON’T CHARGE ME FOR PARKING! I won’t be back.” Their response: Sorry you feel that way.
