The room was nice and clean when I got there . Great area to stay out if you’re traveling for work. The staff is very friendly and kind. Always there to help you of you need anything. I wanna give a big thanks to Emily, Megan, Shelly and all the staff that made my stay very comfortable.

My husband and I are frequent travelers and I must say, this is one of the best Breakfast experiences we've enjoyed in a hotel. The food options are plentiful, delicious and accommodating to meat eaters, vegetarians and plenty of fresh fruit for vegans. The serving area is very clean. We were greeted with friendly professionalism by the attendant Ms Nikki.

Nice clean hotel room. Breakfast was out of bacon which my kids love and Ms Nikki in the kitchen personally cooked my son a plate of bacon and brought it to our table.

Due to an indoor house flood, our insurance moved us for 23 days. Our stay was so accommodating from day one till the end.
Megan, front desk, knew we were displaced from our home and was so kind and helpful. Shelly, the Assistant Mgr, has a great team working together with her. The housekeeping staff were all so king and greeting.
Kathy that prepared the breakfast and also amazing. She was always busy cleaning. They all deserve a bonus!
A 10/10 stay for us. Thank you all.

I really wanted to give this hotel a 4 or even 5-star review because, in most of the ways that matter, it delivers. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and professional, and the overall experience was smooth. For extended stays, this place checks a lot of boxes.

Unfortunately, there is one issue that significantly detracts from the stay, and it’s hard to overlook: the heavy use of deodorizer or air freshener on the first floor, especially in the main lobby.

The scent is extremely strong and pervasive. It fills the entire first floor to the point where I found myself holding my breath while walking through the lobby. I even avoided using the elevators at times just to minimize exposure. After passing through, the smell lingers on your clothes, which is not something you expect from an otherwise clean and well-maintained hotel.

I understand the intention is probably to create a fresh environment, but the current level is overwhelming and has the opposite effect. It comes across more as a heavy chemical presence than a clean scent, and for anyone sensitive to strong fragrances, it’s genuinely uncomfortable.

Aside from this issue, the hotel experience was very good. If management could address the intensity of the air freshener, this would easily be a 4 or 5-star stay.

As it stands, that one factor significantly impacts the overall experience.

We enjoyed our stay here. The price was so much more affordable than staying at the casino and it’s literally 5 minutes away. The free breakfast was a wonderful perk. Shout out to Ms. Nikki for making the oatmeal just the way we like it!

I want to give a special shout-out to Nikki in the breakfast area at Home2 Suites in Lake Charles, LA! She greeted us with such a warm and genuine good morning that it immediately set the tone for the day. She stayed on top of everything, making sure all the breakfast items were fully stocked and the area was clean and welcoming.
You can truly tell she cares about people and takes pride in what she does. Her kindness and positive energy made the experience even better. Employees like her are a big reason guests feel comfortable and taken care of. Thank you, Nikki, for always being so sweet and attentive!

I was sent here to be house by my employer. The staff was great when I came in. Miss Emily checked me in, very engaging smile and friendly. There was a lot to see and there’s a pool, laundry service and gym in the same room. Breakfast was hot, and had a waffle maker as well. All the staff I ran into were very friendly and kind. The room I had was very nice, and laid out well like a home away from home with the kitchenette that was available. If you’re needing to be on the road for weeks at a time, make the effort to stay here. They do their best to ensure you are taken care of.
