Urumqi Taxinan Hotel

Room was nice, in a quite smart hotel. We initially had a smoking room but they changed us to a non-smoking room (with the help of Google translate) with no fuss at all, which was a very welcome surprise in China!

不知為何，烏魯木齊的旅宿選擇那樣少！明明就是新疆省會，照理說應當有更多選項才是！本次非不得已住了這間，首先辦入住時間太長，還一度找不到訂單號；其次，預訂的床型跟實際不符，我是訂大床，後來居然說沒了，改派成標間；再來，第一晚住宿的房間，門把轉動後居然就掉下來了，硬體品質令人瞠目結舌。寄行李時，也不給名條確認，說來領便是了－－但要是有人冒名領取呢？誰負責？

チェックインにえらく手間取ったほかは満足です。ホテルのあるハーミー路は、友好南路から西北路の間が工事中なので、探すのにちょっと手こずるかも。部屋のドアは磁気カード式で毎日更新されるので、二泊以上する場合は毎日フロントで書き換えてもらう必要があります。

場所は悪く無いです。施設は古いですが、お掃除はキチンとしてくれている様でベッドも快適でした。

外国人しか泊まれないホテルです。予約出来ること、注意が無かったこと、システム上大問題だと思います。あり得ない！

広さも十分あり、清掃が行き届いていて、とても快適でした。
お客さんが多かったですか、受付の方はとてもテキパキされていました。
セキュリティチェックをしている警察の方もタクシーを拾って下さり親切にしてくださいました。

Хороший отель , уборка номеров каждый день , Расположение удобное , тихий район . Были включены завтраки . Европейцам стоит от них отказаться . Не было элементарного чая , хлеба остальное острое и не соленое , в столовую на завтрак ходили со своим чаем и бутербродами из предложенного можно было кушать только вареные яйца. :). Интернета нет в номерах :( только в столовой и в холле на 1-м этаже. Заказывали номер для некурящих, но это не спасло ... курят все прямо в номерах и коридоре , дым коромыслом , чистые полотенце часто пахли табаком . курить в помещении норма. Рядом автобусная остановка , без проблем добирались на автобусах в любую точку ( двигались по картам в телефоне) . Охранник говорил на минимальном английском ,так что вопросы решали без проблем.

服務员態度不耐煩

Staff is friendly, location is convenient but I would only rate this a One Star by US Standard. During our stay they were going through renovation, so construction material were strewn in public area, kind of unsightly. But worst of all, one day while we were away, they came in and rip off the in room A/C from the wall (see picture), leaving the desk under it dusty and they did not clean it up. Every day, we need to ask for toilet paper to be delivered. The housecleaning personnel did not check for it.

The hotel location is in residential, quiet and many local eateries around. A 5 mins walk to the Xinjiang museum and the fashionable plaza. Room was good except I could smell cigarette smoke from previous stays.

Hotel is old and price is high for its condition. buffet breakfast started 08:30, but choice of foods were not enough.

I am an American who reserved a room at the hotel after first calling to double check that foreigners could stay there. On the day I was supposed to check in, they called to say they had to suddenly cancel my reservation due to a government event, leaving me stranded in Xinjiang without accommodation (I was already an hour away from the hotel by train). The situation was clearly out of their hands, but one week later, I am still waiting for them to refund my payment, which I sent through Expedia when I made the booking. Very disappointing.

Business room felt run-down. Air conditioner right over bed. Central, but not close to anything. Restaurant closed early. Overpriced.

Great location, close to tourist attractions and transport. Confortable rooms. Clean. Good value for money. Unfortunately, the wifi system in the rooms requires you to log with a chinese phone number, so no internet access if you dont have one. Still should be able to use wifi at the lobby. Quite annoying system considering the quality of the hotel

Tried to contact hotel on many occasions to request airport transfers but didn't get reply by email and when ringing them, no-one could speak English to help. Then when we got our own way to hotel, they told us we didn't have a booking, even though we showed them the confirmation of booking and payment for 2 rooms. They put 3 of us into 1 room for the price we paid for 2 rooms, but it was just impossible to deal with this property due to the language barriers. If staying in Urumqi and you don't speak Chinese, I suggest going to a bigger western hotel that will have English speakers there.

The hotel manager spoke English and that was very helpful.
