Cons:

There was a mix up with my reservation. Totally my fault, but the manager was rude and not willing to work with me to cancel my reservation through booking. I was locked out of my room and was not allowed to get in until I paid for my stay in full at the property. So I paid for the room twice

Second time I have stayed at this hotel. If not for the noise level I would rate this hotel excellent

Cons:

Rooms are not insulated as to sound. People were arguing in the hall and we could easily hear them as well as noise from adjoining rooms

Excellent Location and Comfortable Lodging
Pros:

Perfect location for us for a family party in the area. The Avalon is part of a mixed resi-retail village with many high end shops and restaurants. The community also includes a Whole Foods which was a very nice bonus. We ate at the large Whole Foods for convenience given the local restaurants were often crowded and some of the menus were limited. The fitness center is spacious and fairly quiet since most folks prefer the lying by the pool.

Cons:

The pool are is a bit of a scene late in the day especially with the frequent weddings that the hotel hosts.

Ode to Jahn
Pros:

An ode to Jahn…

Jahn has a respect for life that is rarely seen on a coffee run first thing in the morning, let alone, broadly throughout society. It had been so refreshing to be reminded, ever so gently, (almost every morning) when I’m getting my day started at Avalon Starbucks— to be kind and intentional. Jahn embodies this through his extra care when making your coffee or breakfast pastry or tidying the workspace. He gives “teammate” with every motion. If you’ve missed your name being called… no worries, Jahn will quietly shuffle around the counter and deliver it to you personally. The way he makes eye contact and takes care to pronounce your name when handing you your order. Excellence.

It’s just amazing to be blessed through observation of this human who seems to get being human so well… and it inspires me. It reminds me. Thanks Avalon Starbucks for partnering with Jahn. He gets it and is visibly committed to giving life his best.

World, be more like Jahn. 🙏🏾

今まで泊まったホテルの中で最も最低なホテル滞在でした！
Cons:

２泊しました。
チェックインは夕方でした。部屋は，二階で窓の外の景色は全く無しで壁と、大きなダクト！
ゴーって大きな音がして，とても不快でした。仕方なく夕飯に出かけ，部屋に戻り寝る準備をしました。ところが空調がオフになりません。
何度も何度も試したけどダメです，空気口から冷たい風と
ゴーーーっと言う大きな音！
夜も遅かった為、とても寒い部屋で，顔に布団を掛けてその日は仕方なく寝ましたがとても不快でした！
2日目の朝早くフロントに行き、空調が壊れてるから部屋のチェンジを言いました。
なら、部屋のチェンジはしてくれましたが、すみませんの一言もありませんでした！
1日目の宿泊料金を返金してほしいぐらいのきもちでおります！
もう、２度と宿泊する事はありません！

Pros:

What a beautiful hotel and staff! From the Gm of the hotel to the front desk, they are all devoted to give you the best experience! Manager at south city as well as Starbucks are always available to answer all your needs!
It was probably the best hotel to spend a relaxing weekend in Alpharetta !
