Comfortable heritage hotel in Tacloban
Pros:

Nice heritage building with garden courtyard out the front, room was clean and spacious, Location felt safe and convenient- walking distance to some nice cafes and 7-eleven, Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was included- buffet style with limited options

Cons:

Unfortunately I had a street facing room- very noisy overnight

Tacloban best hotel
Pros:

Great reception when checking in. Supplied plenty of wiffi. Complimentary breakfast was good. Lovely decor and off road parking. Rooms and bathroom big and comfortable bed.

Helpful staff, property might need refurbished
Pros:

The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly.
Had my shirt and trousers ironed: probably the best ironing of my life - give her a raise 😉

Cons:

I'm vegetarian and there weren't too many options to choose from for breakfast.
The air conditioning system is very old, not too efficient.
The walls/ door/ windows are not good noise insulators so you will hear noise from the street and the hallway also - this might be annoying for some, who are used to a fully insulated environment.
