Excellent location and staff, but could do with refurbishment.
Pros:

King bedded room in annex was spacious with a small table and two chairs. Large hanging space suitable for long dresses.
Separate room access so no need to go through the pub. Plenty of parking, free for registered guests.
Excellent, friendly staff.
Vegetarian cooked breakfast was well cooked and substantial.

Cons:

Faded and outdated decor. No drawers at all. No suitcase stand.
Bathroom basin had missing push-down plug. The supplied replacement ordinary plug did not fit snugly so water drained away fairly quickly with the plug inserted. Shower in bath worked well, but there was no grab rail.
Room adjacent to pub yard and kitchen fans that started up at 7:30am so impossible to have a lie in.
Dreadful, almost undrinkable coffee at breakfast.

Pros:

We've stayed here several times before and liked the old coaching inn style.

Cons:

There was no heating in the bedroom. The staff were not able/authorised to move us to another room and had no portable heaters. We waited a couple of hours but nothing improved. The manager declined to come down to speak to us ( Saturday night you would expect him to be on the floor).
We checked out and went elsewhere. Very disappointed with the level or customer care.

My Hart Will Go On!
Pros:

Lovely old world vibe...our room was perfect for our overnight stay in Ringwood. The staff were so friendly, which made our visit really enjoyable.

Cons:

Couldn't fault the Original White Hart...Will deffo return!

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to stay there was nobody there to welcome
Pros:

We booked this hotel When we had problems with our car managed to get a taxi to the hotel half an hour later the place was closed. We couldn’t get anybody on the phone either locally or the main office. Absolute nightmare really unfair that you can book a hotel at that time of night and nobody there it should not be on booking.com and I think the blame lies with booking.com and with the Martin group

En plein centre-ville de Ringwood, auberge typiquement anglaise avec un pub sympa.
Pros:

Auberge typiquement anglaise, donc avec plus de charme qu'un hôtel de chaîne internationale. On est vraiment dépaysé ! Le pub/restaurant est fréquenté et très bon.

Cons:

La chambre était petite mais confortable.

Hearty pub for a good nights kip
Pros:

Spacious twin room, with two half decent sized, comfortable beds. Great location if you are catching the National Express bus to the airport, with coffee shops and supermarkets close by also. Excellent WiFi connection.

Cons:

The shower was in the bath, which quickly filled up with water as the drains were blocked. So the shower left you feeling rather icky.

Would not stay again
Pros:

We enjoyed playing pool in the evening and the location was convenient for walks in the New Forest.

Cons:

Unfortunately our room was so slanted that one of us had to sleep in the opposite direction so that our head wasn’t below our feet. We could also hear a lot of noise from other guests using the stairs and it sounded like there were rats or mice scurrying above us. The room was very hot so it was overall one of the worst sleeps I’ve had in a long time.

Basically very good, exactly what we wanted for a group of old friends meeting up.
Pros:

Really good breakfast. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Nice big on site free car park

Cons:

Nothing to do with the hotel but there is a building site next door so there was a bit of early morning noise. Plus on the same morning the bins were collected very early, not too much of an issue but the bins made a hell of a racket as they were wheeled over the cobblestone driveway and loaded on the lorry right under my window.
