Mir ist bewusst, dass es ein preiswertes Hotel ist und ich vergleiche jetzt nur mit Häusern in ähnlicher Lage und Preislage, von denen wir mehrere in Südengland gebucht haben: Ich muss leider sagen, dass diese Unterkunft die schlimmste war, die ich je hatte. Wahrscheinlich wurde uns sogar wegen der Hitze dieses düstere, kleine Zimmer zugewiesen, das leider nicht zu lüften und vor allen Dingen leider nicht sauber war, das Badezimmer hat mir Studentenwohnheim-Vibes gegeben. Wenn ich nicht vorher schon bezahlt hätte, hätten wir kehrt gemacht, Nach der Nacht habe ich mir gewünscht, ich hätte es trotzdem gemacht. Sorry, an das Team, das dort arbeitet. Zu allem Überfluss war der Buchungsgrund 'Parkplatz' wegen eines Festzugs im Dorf nicht vorhanden und wir mussten unser ganzes Geraffel durch die Gegend buckeln und für den Parkplatz bezahlen. Es spricht nichts dagegen, dass man den Gast über die fehlende Parkmöglichkeit vorab in Kenntnis setzt, dann könnte man überbuchen, was ich liebend gerne gemacht hätte.

Nothing at all, could have been done with a mini fridge to keep some water cold as it was very warm when we came.

Nothing , but could have done with a small cooler fridge to keep water cold as we stayed in very hot weather.

Didn’t bother us but the fabric of the building needs some maintenance.

Just needs freshening up a bit, decor, bath.

The fact that booking .com offered and I exceped a room upgrade to which the hotel does not offer upgrades, as all standard rooms the same and then only family rooms, so paid for upgrade that does not exist ,so money taken on false pretence,very unhappy with booking .com.will not use again as this is ,to me a scam to take money on false pretence not at all happy with them,luckily hotel was pleasant experience.would book ourselves again direct.

The room was very dusty especially the carpet and the wardrobe. Also when we bought booked in the one of the staff informed us we could not use their carpark until 2pm (we got there at 13.40) so had to wait!! This is not good customer care! Also I had to ask about the key location after their closing times as this also was not explained to us. Finally the temperature was very hot in the room, so had to leave all the windows open during the night, there was no fan given to us.

Closed at 10pm and wasn't allowed to use bar facilities. Was told at breakfast it was too early for a glass of coke. Really hot in room with no fan and window partially opened as had screws in frame to stop it opening. Really poor night's sleep

The window frames in room were rotten, difficult to safely open windows. The toilet didn't flush well. Outside metal staircase to the room was steep and had damaged wooden handrail. Breakfast was not warm, croissant uncooked in the middle. We didn't feel it was worth what we paid for it and was the first time we've been disappointed with a property booked with Booking.com.
