Peaceful
Great facilities, great staff
Just a all round great experience
If you could turn the volume of the wildlife down a little that would be great
Our visit was a treat in every respect. We saw the sun set from the tower and we saw the sun rise again the next morning. We sat by a log fire for dinner.
We liked it all.
Everything, late check out was bonus.
员工都很友好。景色优美
The hotel is situated on a wine estate in a lovely countryside area approximately 1,5 hours drive from Melbourne. The hotel looks like it has been built in the 70s. Interesting architecture but outdated. They rooms must have been renovated recently. All fittings are upmarket but the design is not outstanding in any way and the rooms are rather small. For the rates you pay they fail to impress. Good quality bathroom cosmetics and bathrobes are offered, the slippers were of low quality. The mini bar is well stocked, there is a coffee capsule machine and quality tea bags as well as milk in the fridge. The welcome was very friendly and we were offered a complimentary glass of wine. You can visit the winery for a complimentary wine tasting which is a nice feature. Unfortunately all wines we tried were rather unpalatable. E-bikes are available and complimentary. We cycled to the neighbouring wine farm Tahbilk, a charming historic estate with very good wines and an excellent restaurant.
Over the weekend the hotel attacks a lot of families with small children. If you are looking for a quiet weekend retreat you might find that upsetting. The estate is a popular wedding venue so expect party noise. The rooms are badly insulated and you hear a lot of noise from the corridor and guests and housekeeping staff slamming doors. The pool is not heated. The quality of bedding and pillows is average. The restaurant was very disappointing. The staff was friendly and hard working but the food took forever to be served, was very high priced and average at best. Breakfast was not included in the steep rate. For the money we payed for the room and food we wouldn’t return.
Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room
Muse restaurant, food was very average and underwhelming
