Friendly staff and quick check in and departure. Breakfast was tasty. Room plain but had everything that was needed. Very clean and comfortable. Fantastic price for a room.
The stairs…2 flights to get to my room ( 40 steps).
It was in a good location for us and the bed was very good

Very poor food, bathroom dated and in poor condition.

The room was comfortable (with an enormous bed!) The shower was really good. Dinner was OK
The accommodation was seperate from the main building. Not so good if it's raining! The bed didn't need to be quite so big (it took up most of the room!)
Room 22 was perfect, we loved the fact it had a separate small bedroom, worked perfect that the kids could go to sleep before us. The beds are soooo comfortable we slept so well for the 3 nights we stayed.
We had breakfast the first morning and unfortunately we didnt find it the best, i had the omelette and found it very greasy which meant it didnt settle very well. The variety and choice of breakfast items was good so i cant comment on any other items.
Having stayed many times at the Owl, we are please to say it is maintaining it's high standards and value for money.
I was very disappointed to find the room keys have been changed to the keyless swipe card system. It took 4 different cards before we could get in. I have had this problem at other hotels over the last couple of years and dislike them immensely.
