I had a comfortable stay, the room was spacious and I was delighted to have a bath.
Pros:

There is as a good choice on the breakfast menu would have preferred if there had been more fresh fruit and the yogurt available.

Needed air-conditioning

Comfortable bed and clean

Cons:

My room was the third floor up. It was so hot I couldn’t stay in it. I did tell the staff and they moved me to the second floor but still so hot 🥵 you could not brief. I had to open the fire door to try and let some hair in it did have a fan, but it was just blowing hot heat

Easy to find. Quiet despite being on a trunk road. Comfortable room.

Decent enough. Probably would stay again if I had too.
Pros:

The Owl was a decent place to stay. The bar was nice and the staff looked after us well.

Cons:

The mattress has seen better days and a heavy smoker next door kept us awake throughout the night, choking and regularly nipping outside for a smoke. But I can’t hold that against the establishment, just bad luck.
