The location is great, the beds were quite comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel is quite old and showing it. The bathroom was especially bad, the staff were miserable.. The AC was really noisy and the wind howled through the windows and doors.

Pros:

We booked a fan room to the front, because all the aircon rooms face the back and we wanted a seaview balcony. It's worth not having aircon in exchange for that view!! And the fan worked well enough. The beds are comfortable.

Cons:

We stayed here before, so we knew what to expect: Old furniture, no hot water, rude reception staff and non existent internet. 😄

Best Location, but Old Hotel
Pros:

The hotel location is probably one of the best as it is located in front of the beach and the view, particularly for Sunrise in the morning, is spectacular. Moreover, the hotel location is within walking distance to popular destinations of this town.

Cons:

For the hotel, it is a bit old and modernization is needed. The town itself, since it is not a popular destination for travelers, thus public transportation is difficult to find and quite expensive.

Nice place best views in PKK of sea.
Pros:

Fan Rooms have great views of the ocean but they get hot in the summer 4 th floor best viewing.

Pros:

Great location! Fabulous to have a balcony facing the sea. Next to the long pier which is great in the evening, and only 10mn walk from train station.

Pros:

I enjoyed my stay at Mont Talay. It is in a great location with a clear view of beach and sea. It is walkable everywhere in Prachuap. The room is basic but it is a great price & has adequate provisions for a short stay. Could do with some refreshing & renovations. Overall, I would recommend if you want a cheap place to stay in an ideal location & don't have high expectations of room amenities.

Exceptional value in Old style hotel.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this " seen better days " old hotel.I had a big room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. There was a cool breeze off the sea making temperatures pleasant and although I suppose it is a little run down having been here forever.. it made not a scrap of difference to my enjoyment of having a large space in an incredibly convenient location.
Close to the Train Station, Weekend night market as well as the everyday Night market it was the perfect location to wander round Prachuap Khiri Khan. The evening view of the jetty lit up was lovely and I will definitely stay here again. Excellent value at around 20 aud per night for a double room.

Cons:

A real maze to get to my 4th floor room but only confusing the first couple of times.
Staff very offhand when I first arrived but soon warmed up.

Great location, amazing views
Pros:

It's a long running place and a bit tired looking, but this hotel commands a prime location overlooking the bay and that makes up for all the little defects, I've been here several times and I will surely be back again!
