Comfortable hotel. Out of town. Transport needed
Pros:

Very comfortable hotel, fairly long way out of town. You need transport if you wish to get out anywhere. Restaurant usually closed in afternoons as not enough guests. 5-8km to restaurants. room service works and you can talk to the chef and get almost anything that you want if you give him a little warning.
Coffee shop in lobby makes decent coffees.
Wi-Fi excellent and Skype is legal in Saudi Arabia so good comms.
Noisy at front of the hotel (winter so windows open)- traffic noise and people sitting outside putting the world to rights.

You need to set up your cleaning frequency with the hotel staff as the cleaner will generally come in only when asked.
