Friendly hotel with small swimming pool, good central location. Meal in restaurant very good.

Cons:

We booked a small double and it wasnt in the main hotel it was at the back through the car park and it was a rather small room although ok for one night.

Room dated and shabby. Very noisy throughout the night.
Breakfast was very poor service. We were put in the "overflow " room. After brushing crumbs off the chairs we were directed to tea and toast was brought to the table. No milk, no butter. After 20 minutes and asking twice it was brought to us, by which time the toast was cold and tea stewed. Then we were informed breakfast was self service in the room next door despite there being a menu on the table.. On leaving the "overflow" room my husband noticed a large greasy mark on the back of my trousers from the dirty chairs.
We spoke to Daniel, the duty manager, at check out. His attitude left a lot to be desired, rude and arrogant.
We will not return to this hotel nor recommend it to others.
