An excellent central location and a beautiful old building - a great antidote to bland edge of town chain hotels. The room was clean, the staff at reception were helpful and the stay was good value for money. I would most certainly stay there again

We had a warm welcome and a very comfortable stay.
Pros:

We liked the decor, period character and comfort offered by this traditional hotel right in the heart of the town. What really made it special was the friendliness of every member of staff. Thank you!

Cons:

Perhaps the breakfast could have been extended slightly, but we never felt we had to rush away.
