A wonderful relaxing stay!
Pros:

Very well designed and decorated with elegant taste.
It helps preserving the Roman ruin which interests tourists like me. I really enjoyed the archaeological tour this morning! It made me want to find out more about other Roman ruins in Portugal !

Séjour parfait
Pros:

Le personnel est impeccable. Un grand bravo à l’équipe de Maria (Famata, Marcia…). Ils font en sorte que le petit déjeuner est parfait. Tout était très bon.

An excellent hotel, great location and would definitely stay again
Pros:

The Breakfast was amazing and the staff throughout the hotel very attentive. We asked to move rooms after the first night to get a river view and the hotel obliged. The breakfast team were brilliant and very friendly.

Cons:

We were celebrating a 50th Birthday and 25th Wedding Anniversary which we advised at time of booking. The staff knew nothing of this. When we said at checkin they made a new note.

Nettes Hotel in guter Lage

Lage war sehr gut alles gut zu fuss erreichbar und in der nahe restaurants als auch Altstadt
Der Herr furs Gepack war sehr freundlich und tlw hilfreicher als die Rezeption selbst.

overall it was a good stay.
Pros:

the location was good close to everything and walking distance to the shops and attractions. breakfast was good. the room was good. We had asked for another king sized flat sheet to have between the duvet and us , but housekeeping would keep taking it when they made up the room so we had to keep asking for another one.

When I called to check about the transportation from the airport to the hotel , the person I talked with SCAMMED me for 798.76 saying that the hotel had changed the price and that my reservation would be cancelled if I didn't pay it I have filed a complaint with booking but have yet to hear anything about this , at check in asked hotel about price and they did NOT change the price . Because of this I would NEVER use booking again.

I left a Tahari jacket in my room after I checked out. The housekeeping staff have confirmed they found it. But I’m having difficulty confirming the next steps with the hotel. How will they send it to me ?? Their telephone system is terrible. Almost impossible to speak with a human being

Exceptional Hotel
Pros:

Great location for us to embark on our Silversea cruise. Did the tour of the hotel and the ruins - very interesting. Staff on reception were excellent and we enjoyed our “welcome bubbles”. A great hotel and could have stayed longer.
