excellent breakfast good barnice pillows and mostly great room
airconditioner needs help was hot during evening and had to open windows which then causes noice early morning -gap under main door allows light in so you can see when people walk past
Great location in the centre of Keswick. Lovely room on the top floor with great views over to Catbells. Comfy bed & was very clean. Could also park the car at the back of the hotel, best to reserve with the hotel as there’s not many spaces.
The breakfast was ok but nothing too special. The fruit didn’t look fresh & most things had to be ordered rather than self service.

Only downside is the music from local pubs / bars which went on until about 1am on Saturday night. But not the fault of the hotel
Nice big room in great central location . Staff in the hotel were nice and very helpful. Breakfast was very good.
We were asked to leave The Back Bar Beer Garden (which is advertised as dog friendly) because we had 2 dogs in our company , both were sleeping under a table. When we asked why we had to leave we were told that the boss has decided that the dogs need to be out by 9pm. I then asked if the beer garden was closing , and was told no but the dogs need to leave.

Bit of a trek from the car park to the hotel, would be a struggle for older less able people.
Location was perfect
We were put on the third floor in the roof space on the room was unbearably hot and uncomfortable when we complained the staff informed us, they could not control the weather. It was not their fault not very good for the expensive rate that they charged.

Minor points but bed side cabinet on wrong side for me ,and bed on castors so when I sat on edge it moved . trivial points I know
