Staff were great but I booked the hotel for the spa and tried to book in a week beforehand for treatments but there was no availability. So for the price, if you don’t take advantage of the spa it isn’t worth it. We could have stayed at a hotel across the road for half the price
Rooms have no air conditioning and our room had a bad view for over £500 for two nights
Gorgeous Hotel
Nothing. Superb hotel
The setting
Nothing
Beautiful location
Quite pricey but worth it for special occasions
Perfect location and the Spa was just great! Hotel and staff loved dogs which was brilliant!
The breakfast was just average . Ive had better.
The room was lovely, bed was super comfy and well presented. The bathroom was very small in comparison to the room, but was clean and had everything we could need. The staff were super attentive. Everything was really well presented. The SPA is nice, the view makes it worth the experience.
The food was below average, I ordered fillet steak the first night and not only was the cut lower quality than expected it wasn't cooked well, I returned it and the second time coming out was still pretty poor. For the price of the food £40 for the meal - it was not what I would expect. The plates come out scorching hot every time, it's not a pleasant experience to eat there with boiling hot food that doesnt have much flavour- even breakfast was not as expected. For a 4 star hotel the food isnt great at all, so unless you are not bothered by food quality don't recommend eating there.
Fantastic hotel

Fantastic location and the staff were all lovely. Both restaurants were fabulous.
The lighting was really harsh and bright-like an office! Spoiled what could have been a lovely cozy atmosphere.
Brilliant food.good quality hotel.excellent staff
The hotel and spa were superb and getting too and from Keswick was very easy .
Just that there could be a snack menu after 9pm
We were guests at a wedding at the hotel. It was was a excellent day and really enjoyed our stay and breakfast
Everything
The area is fantastic great views
Well unfortunately the leaving left a bad taste as after we had left we got a email saying a scatter cushion was damaged and that we are going to be charged for its replacement so I rang to be told my dog has chewed the corner of it I explained I don’t have a dog and in the booking I don’t have a dog and it also isn’t a dog friendly room so after 3 phone calls and 3 emails later I get told after another investigation it’s concluded
The room was next to the restaurant vents for the kitchen as well which is room 123 and the noise of the vents doesn’t stop till about 11.30ish.
