Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at Serristori Palace.The location was very good, with a picturesque view of the Arno River and Ponte. The room was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. My children liked the room very much, and the beds were very comfortable. For me, it was very important that the bathroom and kitchen were spotless, so we could use them without any worries. We will definitely come back next time we are in Florence!

Cons:

The Wi-Fi in the bedroom worked poorly.

25 emails addressing scam emails through booking.com and not one response from the residence to rectify it. Tightass 4 coffee pods one roll of toilet paper did not replace the towels, male receptionist was rude

Nice place but they tried to cheat us
Cons:

The hotel staff tried to cheat us. When we checked out we were told we would have to pay a significant sum for a city tourist tax. This struck us as odd because the tassa di soggiorno is usually not a lot of money. We called the commune di Firenze and discovered that the hotel was attempting to double the amount we should have actually paid. The city told us the tax should not be more than 7 euros for a four star hotel and children under 12 do not have to pay. The city also publishes these rates online. Fortunately, once we called them on it, the hotel refunded our money. Am writing this review so other travellers can avoid this disappointing and predatory behavior.
