Friendly staffs and convenient location

The evening meal was excellent. Breakfast ok, would have preferred back bacon and warm plates. Poor selection of fruit. Room was too hot even with fan. Needs updating. The shower is built for midgets and far too small. Dirty and dusty behind bedside tables. Toilet brush was dirty.

Loved the friendly staff and service. Clean, bed very comfortable. Food was lovely.
Only thing I’d change, the choice of coffee pods for the Nespresso, the only ones available were awful, very bitter and didn’t taste like coffee at all! I’d have brought my mine if I’d known it was available.

Really nice place great food, no aircon, and can get hot in the summer, there are fans in the rooms and Wi-Fi can be a bit hit and miss, staff are great, and a great location.

Everything about the day was excellent except for the noise. The hotel is on the road so there is car noise but it’s more about loudness of people walking by after they’ve been out on the town and walking home at all hours. The rooms are not double glazed class. Also unfortunately during our stay the alarm went off very early Saturday morning. Nobody from the hotel directed us or gave us any indication as to what was going on. This meant that they were people wondering about on the landing shouting and confused. It obviously turned out to be nothing but at no point did anybody from the hotel contact us to explain or apologise for the inconvenience.
The staff in the hotel, are all very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also good.

Prime location, close to Railway / buses, , restaurants and shopping and in the town centre. Great service. Had a perfect stay. Will be back next year.

Room was ok, shower not great & bed a little uncomfortable, other than that staff were great, friendly and helpful & the food was really good

I like to stay here when its convenient as the staff are friendly, the food is very good and there is free parking. The only issue with the hotel is that the rooms need a serious refurbishment, some more than others. But it doesnt stop me staying there.

Nice place. Very friendly staff. I think some rooms must be better than others as ours was not as nice as the ones in the photos. There did not seem to be an option to select the nicer rooms so it may be the luck of the draw.

Convenient and friendly with easy parking and good breakfast.

Bedding and towels were clean and good quality. The room was clean if decoratively tired.
The area outside the window was untidy, I don't think all guests avoided smoking.

Nice people - good breakfast - just a tired building and room that was too noisy and dated with very uncomfortable pillows.

The food that is available is of a high standard and a very reasonable price - you certainly get value for money.

The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, going above and beyond when asked.

Great spot for the town but rooms are tired and the hotel was noisy if you are at the back
