Staff in restaurants very rude , queued for over 40 minutes just for a drink , television didn’t work and fan in bathroom kept us awake all night

Very good all round.
Pros:

I was under the impression that I had already submitted a review. I came back to the Royal Oak because it had suited me very well on two previous occasions. The booking process was smooth and the free parking is a considerable asset.

Cons:

Nothing I can really recall.

Pleasant and suitable for a short stay/business visit
Pros:

Have stayed a number of times for family matters in the area. Always pleasant and the location is 100% ideal. No frills, clean and hospitable with pleasant staff and facilities

Cons:

Bathroom is quite basic but a good size and sufficient.

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast and good value for meals both at Breakfast and evening.

Cons:

The decor could do with a little TLC. Eg. Paintwork in some areas would benefit from touching up but it wouldn't put us off from staying again.
