Pros:

Location was central to what we needed. Coming home at the end of a day hard work you don't have too high a bar so it was ok.

Cons:

Rooms were old and worn. Breakfast was passable and variable and didn't feel valued for money.

Good, clean basic accommodation with happy, helpful staff
Pros:

Previously stayed here many times as very convenient for visiting family. Bromborough village a few minutes walk with late-night Co-op and early opening cafes. Good basic accommodation - I think my room and bathroom may have been recently refreshed. Double bed comfortable, spare pillows if needed. Two chairs and low coffee table were useful if a little worn. Room and bathroom very clean - nice towels and heated rail. I like that the radiator in the main room is manually adjustable as I often find hotel rooms too hot. My room was quiet although if you open the window you can hear the main road traffic.
Brilliant, friendly staff as always 😊

Cons:

Door key was really difficult to pull out of the lock -maybe needs a spot of oil. A bit hard to access the Wi-Fi, but I didn’t really need it so didn’t persevere.
I chose not to eat in the pub; I hear the food is fine but I was turned off by the shabby run-down eating areas - thankfully they bear no resemblance to the hotel rooms!
