It was simply delightful
Pros:

We usually stay in Preston South Travelodge as it is halfway to Fife where we usually go but this time we were travelling further into the Highland so looked for somewhere over the Scottish Border so opted for this place. Yes, the room was a bit wee but it was just what we wanted. The hotel was spotless, clean, and the staff were so good, polite and it was just a great overnight stay. If you are looking for a lovely hotel, not far from the motorway, then give the Ecclefechan a try.

Great value for money
Pros:

This was a good value for money stopover hotel on our way back from Scotland. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and, although we didn't eat in the evening, the menu looked very reasonably priced.

I’ll stay there again.
Pros:

I’ve stayed there before it closed and under the new management , visiting friends who live nearby .The new owners were friendly and helpful . They’ve also spent a lot of money on the guest rooms . Visiting a few days ago I was really pleased to see newly redecorated rooms with a great shower .was very impressed.

Relaxing,enjoyable and good value for money
Pros:

A very comfortable room and a good breakfast
The staff were friendly and helpful and overall it made for the perfect stopover

Cons:

Maybe freshly brewed coffee at breakfast but there again I should have asked

Pros:

Beautiful room, had a garden for our dog to run around. Food prices were reasonable. Beds very comfy

Cons:

Food was ok. Very noisy downstairs until stop tap and noise continuing outside hotel well after midnight.
