Short Break
Pros:

Excellent location for Oban, and would recommend. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is small but breakfast was lovely. We got a special deal for the hotel and had a great time.

Lovely stay in small friendly Metro Hotel.
Pros:

Lovely stay in our accessible room with flush floor shower with great water pressure . Continental plus breakfast was great with hot elements cooked to order. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms spotless and controls to allow you to turn the heating up or down. Great refreshment tray which is topped up daily. There is no parking but we're lucky to find on street parking next to hotel at no cost to Blue Badge holders.
Try out the Lorne next door for an evening meal.
Cost great value as three day break purchased via ITISON.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a rather eventful night during my stay when a pipe had burst into a room downstairs and the staff had to wake everyone up to check bathrooms but I thought the staff did their absolute best in unusual and unforseen circumstances. Water was off the following morning and they gave me keys to a nearby apartment they also run so I could get a shower. Room was compact but clean and comfortable and just right for what I needed.

Cons:

Room was a little too hot at times and couldn't quite work out the controls but there was a window that opened so thats good

Small but perfectly formed
Pros:

Really nice wee hotel, small but perfectly formed! Staff were all very nice & hardworking. The room was clean, comfy and well equipped. And the breakfast was super tasty. Just note no lift so get a ground floor room if you have mobility issues. And no carpark.

Excellent
Pros:

I would like to thank all staff for their courtesy and helpfulness during our stay last week.
We’ve stayed a few times at The Ranald and have always enjoyed our visit.
The weather wasn’t particularly good this time but the hotel was warm and welcoming and our G1 room was extremely comfortable.
Add to that, our voucher which we used at Cuan Mor was excellent and we had a lovely meal.
Thank you to everyone at reception, breakfast room and the ladies who kept the hotel clean and tidy.
We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Great apartment
Pros:

Just back from a few nights staying in one of the studio apartments here.

We parked our car in the nearby council carpark at Tweedale Street - it is free from 6pm-9am then £1 per hour after that.

The apartment check- in is at the main hotel entrance, and the entrance to the apartments just a few doors away. We were in apartment 13 which was on the top (3rd) floor. There isn't a lift but the stairs were good exercise for us!.

The room was larger than expected and very well laid out. Very clean too.

The little kitchenette had a microwave, oven, hob, fridge and kettle but no toaster. Tea and coffee was provided. It was all we needed to make our own breakfast.

There was plenty of wardrobe space, and a hairdryer and iron was provided.

Very central location, would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Lovely stay in a really nice hotel.
Pros:

Lovely stay in a nice boutique hotel. Small breakfast area but was fine and was good breakfast, just right for staring your day. Staff were very pleasant and friendly.
Only very slight disappointment was the curtain didn’t close fully, a very minor point but something that should have been fixed, also the coffee table was broken and we reported it immediately and asked to be fixed or taken out the room as was a bit dangerous, neither were done.
