Acceptabel voor één nacht als je lang uitgaat, en dat kan want Oban is gezellig.
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt, mooie ligging vlakbij het centrum. W kregen

Cons:

Openbare parkeerplaatsen die druk bezet waren, verder weg parkeren geeft een onveilig gevoel. Veel te kleine kamer voor 3 volwassenen in eenpersoonsbedden. Bij binnenkomst was de kamertemperatuur 22 graden. Raam kon maar een heel klein stukje open, afgekoeld tot 18 graden in 3 uur tijd mbt aanwezige ventilator en geblokkeerde badkamerdeur waardoor licht en ventilatie aanbleven. Douchedeur sluit slecht en douchekop blijft niet recht hangen.

More like student halls of residence, small dark room, no lounge bar. Photos on website very wide angle and don't reflect actual accommodation. Very very expensive for what it was, for the price expected more

Amazing staff!! Clean and Great Breakfast but wifi needs an upgrade
Pros:

The staff decorated the room for us as we came for a hen due and they did a phenomenal job. So communicative, super helpful and just 5 starts for how helpful they were. The breakfast is really good and I was happy with the selection. It was pretty crowded and a popular hotel. I would say it’s the most affordable and modern hotels in Oban so I can see why everyone was there

Cons:

The shower does pool but that’s an easy fix. Wifi was pretty awful so if they fixed that it would really be 100% great stay.

Super clean, efficient , great beds,shower,breakfast !
Pros:

We have stayed I think 3 times here for our daughter dancing at the himdf, and although the price going up at this time is very annoying, we always find the ranald to be super clean, offers everything you want, absolutely love the bed , the breakfast is great too!

Clean basic rooms but lacking character plus very confined spaces, hard to see value compared to other places we’ve stay

Very narrow hotel with narrow rooms and no lift, everything feels quite confined and possibly very difficult to exit in an emergency
The rooms were very hot and hard to cool down, even in April

Our stay at the Ranald Hotel
Pros:

The hotel staff are so lovely and the rooms are comfy and clean. It is a good location for exploring Oban. I would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

The breakfast was good but a little bit limited on vegetarian or vegan options. The avocado on toast was tasty. As I was there 2 nights it wasn't a problem. If you like sweet things, that gave another option and there were cereals.

Kleines aber feines Hotel an hervorragender Lage
Pros:

Zimmer modern und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Lage ist sehr zentral. Sehr ruhig.

Cons:

Zimmer eher klein aber total in Ordnung. Frühstücksraum etwas knapp bemessen, wird aber gut gemanagt.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Ranald and would certainly stay there again if we were in Oban
Pros:

Breakfast really good considering the limited space available for staff to prepare .
Staff very accommodating
Towels in bathroom lovely and fluffy

Cons:

Needed to use accessible toilet downstairs when we arrived .Toilet being used for storage and lock not working .

The Staff was very helpful and did their utmost to make you feel welcome

The breakfast room is a very tight space, almost sitting on top of each other, but the staff did their best and were servicing us as best as they could with a warm smile
